A Warm and Memorable Stay at the Brand-New Courtyard by Marriott
Staying at the Courtyard by Marriott, open just three weeks, was an incredible experience that felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. From the moment we called to check availability to when we checked out this morning, the hospitality was unmatched.
The staff truly made our stay special. Whether it was at the front desk or chatting over a meal at the bistro bar, we found ourselves in meaningful conversations about family, recent trips, birthdays, and children. We even got into fun discussions about flipping houses, real estate, and our plans for buying the next investment property. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, genuine, and eager to connect, making us feel right at home.
Beyond the people, the property itself is stunning. The newness of the hotel shines through with beautifully designed rooms, spotless amenities, and a cozy yet modern atmosphere. The bistro bar served up delicious food and drinks, and the lobby was a perfect spot to relax.
Cyndi and I left feeling like we’d made new friends. The care and attention from the staff turned what could have been an ordinary stay into an extraordinary memory. We can’t wait to return and see how this fantastic hotel grows and thrives in the years ahead.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Read moreWith Marriott hotels topping our list, we were excited to stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Covington during our Atlanta trip. The friendly front desk staff welcomed us warmly, but we soon realized we'd made a slight error – we'd arrived a day ahead of schedule. The staff quickly corrected the misunderstanding, and we were promptly checked into our room. While staying here, we tried breakfast. After Jesse took our order, Chef Tee cooked a fantastic serving of eggs, potatoes, and meats. While Tee prepared our food, we chatted with Jesse, who was very personable. Family visited us the next afternoon, and we decided to try the buffalo chicken wings. After tasting the first order, we ended up ordering three more orders. The seasoning, flavor, and spice were addicting and perfect. This is a new hotel with all of the modern features needed: plenty of outlets and USB ports, a motion sensor light when moving around at night, an adjustable bracket on the wall, and a TV for viewing and streaming availability. A major pro for me is the half-enclosed showers. With half of the shower glass open, a great deal of water escapes onto the floor, creating a mess. A special shout out to those who made our stay remarkable and memorable: Kiera, whose smile and personality lights up the front lobby, Chef Tee, and Jesse. Hope to see you all on...
Read moreI didnt catch the ladys name, but I called just to simply ask if they had a room available for tonight. 3-4 mins of silence & then she disappears to cater to the people who just walked in. Finally comes back several minutes later & then does the SAME THING , AGAIN & then this time when she comes back , “hold on i know i have one just let me see where”. After another 5 or so mins of silence I finally said nevermind I’ll find somewhere else & she immediately says “okay, have a good night!” like what??? So lets pretend you didnt just shove me to the side TWICE to deal with people who walked in AFTER I called & sat on hold all that time, and just hit me with a “have a good night” after I get fed up & hang up??? Real professional. Not a sorry, kiss my @ss, nothing. All this over something that would’ve taken her 5 MINS OR LESS if she just stuck to the order that customers came in. But… with that being said… if you need quick service or have questions, definitely go inside.. I promise they’ll deal with you first, even if the person on the phone...
