Arby's — Restaurant in Covington

Normally the food is on par for what you expect from arbys, not great, not bad but on this day (11/11/2021) it was so bad that a negative review is in order. the service was average for post lock down worker shortage quality (not good but not awful, kinda bare minimum) but when we got our food and got about 60% home my wife pulled her half pound beef and cheddar to find on top of the almost non-existent squirt of "cheese" the meat itself seemed hard as a rock, the consistency of rubber and the flavor of air dried roast beef jerky that's been under a heat lamp, we ended up going to Monroe and buying another one as the hassle to turn around was there and ended up leaving the abomination behind a local building for the stray cats to choke on. We got home and hadn't even considered looking at my daughters roast beef slider, we just did a little over an hour later to find the same thing but this one included not a soggy bun like the BnC but instead a nice solid miniature bun that ended up becoming dog food. The buffalo sauce coated chicken nuggets that they called boneless chicken wings where tolerable to me though. I would vent to the store directly but I'm pretty awful at keeping up with my reciepts with those little "tell us how we're doing" surveys so this is my part, normally it's okay, yeah this is one of those "people only review something when it sucks" reviews, normally they're tolerable, but today, it was a waste of 30 wage stagnated dollars. Everytime I go to this place which is at least once a week and especially for their new cookies. They are better than Chick-fil-A and their triple chocolate brownie cookie I think that's what it is called is better than the brownies or as good as Zaxby's which is right next door. Their customer service is excellent there people are always on the double and no one has to tell them to say "my pleasure"! I ran a call center group years ago and customer service if it's good people don't have to be told to say a 'tag line' that become so repetitive it has no meaning whatsoever. When you have to ask time and again for condiments there's no reason for that and you sure as heck won't get that kind of service at Chick-fil-A in Covington Georgia! How would write Arby's well over Chick-fil-A regarding their sincere customer service any day of the week and especially on Sundays! One of the last young ladies I dealt with there her name was Kayla I always try to address the server's by their names. I wish I could remember the other ladies names who work there and gentlemen but right now I cannot. However I have never felt rushed at Arby's, Covington Georgia , also Lawrenceville Georgia. Great job thank you for the cookies I loved the croissants as well the cookies are totally awesome. In fact when they went off the menu for a brief. I ordered the newest item, the Philly cheese steak. Had a gravy on it that was indescribable but like in the worst way possible. I guess the best way I could say would be a gravy that was underdone and gritty, too salty and with no actual flavor. Too little cheese and as usual the roast beef was rubbery. The peppers were decent but I couldn't taste the onions at all. The manager was taking orders inside (because I went inside to make my order cuz the drive-thru was five cars deep.) The inside of the restaurant look like a small bomb head gone off at the condiment station and at the drink machine. They both looked like they are in the middle of cleaning but a rush had come through and so they had to all hands on deck. But they didn't put the tops on any of the condiments. The ketchup dispenser and the mustard dispenser. They didn't put the grate underneath where the ice would go so that if you wanted to make a drink you couldn't have set it down, While you were choosing your drink after getting ice. It looked clean... I guess, the most glaring part was the condiment station and the drink station was just tore apart getting cleaned. It was just like stuck in the middle of that.
