Embarking on our inaugural journey to Atlanta, we were eager to dive into the local culinary scene. Opting for lunch at a traditional American steakhouse felt like the perfect introduction. With an array of meats on offer, including steak, ribs, and chicken, the menu promised an authentic dining experience. The chicken salad, chosen as a starter, took us by surprise with its generous portion size, setting the tone for the meal ahead. Deciding to split a half rack of BBQ ribs between us seemed like a sensible choice, yet even then, the sheer size of the meat slab posed a delightful challenge. The grilled sweet corn, bursting with flavor, added a personal touch to the meal, reminding me of home-cooked favorites. Each bite of the impeccably grilled BBQ ribs transported me to a realm of culinary bliss, with tender meat that practically melted in the mouth. For an extra dose of sweetness, we indulged in additional BBQ sauce, enhancing the already exquisite flavors. Meanwhile, my colleague bravely tackled the colossal T-bone steak, a feat that showcased his hearty appetite and culinary prowess. As for me, I savored every spoonful of the rich and savory lobster and clam chowder soup, relishing its comforting umami goodness, especially when paired with the corn. Our first visit to this Atlanta steakhouse was not just a gastronomic adventure but also a journey filled with cherished memories and shared experiences.

This is a good longhorn; and there’s always a wait on the weekends. They need to work on the estimates they give people though. We reserved ahead on the app; were 28th in line with a 45 minute wait. 40 minutes later we got to the longhorn and were 5th in line, checked in at the front and were told it would be a 45 minute wait. I said this didn’t sound right; this was our original wait when I did seating ahead, and now we are 5th in line not 28th. It just didn’t sound accurate. Apparently a manager was near there and overheard something ? She said she manages 6 Longhorns and this is just how it is, etc. she came off a little aggressive. Anyways; 10 minutes later (not 45) we were first in line and then seated. The food is still quite good at this location and will come back. Just ignore the wait time they say and go by the app. Edit 5.13.25: They just recently started giving tiny strawberry salads when you order to go. They always used to give full size ones, but now even though you pay the same price you only get the full size premium salad when you dine in; if you order to go it’s the same price for half the normal size they give dine in and which they used to give to go.

Recently I posted a negative review for this Longhorn location. I had tried the "to-go" service and had quite a few problems. I reviewed the store detailing the entire episode. Guest relations reached out immediately following the review to make things right. I was very pleased and impressed with the handling of the complaint. Guest relations did a wonderful job. After Longhorn reached out to me I wanted to give the "to-go" service another try. So, tonight I ordered online again and picked up the food outside. I ordered the Porterhouse with a side of shrimp, salad and a baked sweet potato. Of course the most important part of the meal is the steak. I ordered medium rare. The steak was perfect. Charred on the outside but red inside. Very juicy and flavorful. I ordered ranch dressing with the salad. I've always enjoyed the Longhorn ranch dressing. This time was no different. It was excellent. See pictures. There were no issues with the pickup of the food this time and everything was cooked correctly. I will continue to patronize this location and may do the to-go option again soon.

We had a horrible experience at this Longhorn location. The beginning of the meal was an hour and a half wait after we had been quoted only a 30-45 minute wait. When we were finally seated we were shown to a Hightower table which we told the host wasn't a great option for our older and handicapped dinner guests. We were told that we would have to wait an additional hour for a regular table or booth despite several open tables, many of which had not been prebussed or cleaned. Our server was not good and made several mistakes with our order and was inattentive. At one point one of our guests who had ordered a salad but not recieved it with the rest of the table asked an older male server who responded "ummm ok" and then walked away with quite an attitude. We waited over an hour for our food which ranged from just ok to great. We had asked to speak to the manager on duty several times during our visit. But was told that she was too busy. It was obvious that our server was trying to get the manager to visit our table. However it seems that she was stuck in the kitchen and refuse to come assist us. The tension elevated as the manager and server got into a screaming match in the expo area which could be heard by the entire dining room. The server informed us that there would be a discount added to our bill for our inconvenience. However, when he presented the bill, there was no discount. He then told the table that the manager was refusing to give any discount. And she finally made her way to our table. The manager was a young female with dark hair and possibly one of the worst professionals I've ever encountered in my entire life. She was flippant rude and did not care what we were saying about our horrible visit. We were not seeking compensation or free food but that's how she treated as if we were trash. The server then told us that despite him offering a discount to our table the manager refused to reduce our bill, however, the server stated that since the manager wouldn't add a discount to our check that he had personally added his friends and family discount. This store is a TRAINWRECK and should be avoided at all times. Also to note a woman had a nasty fall when we were there on the floors in the bar area. It was obvious that the unkempt floors were wet due to heavy server traffic out of the kitchen. The added humidity in the air also leads to the floors becoming slick and presenting a hazard for staff and guests. The manager had to practically be begged to come out to the floor to assist the fallen guest and when she finally did come out, she handled the emergency situation in a way that made her look...

Let me start off by saying that our waitress was nice & apologetic, even though all the events that occurred were not her fault. Also, the food was good....once we finally received it. The place was very busy for a Monday evening, with several large parties, so we tried to be patient when things took a lot longer than usual. I love a good Bloody Mary, but theirs can not be described that way. It could have possibly been saved by some pickle juice and hot sauce, but I was told they had neither on hand. I ordered the renegade sirloin with the grilled shrimp. When my plate came out, the steak was missing. They took the entire plate back to the kitchen, and by the time they came back with a steak, the shrimp were cold. I ordered my steak medium, but what I got can best be described as over well. When the waitress came back by (which took a while b/c she was so busy) I showed her the inside of the dark brown steak & embarrassed by the obvious mistake, she apologized again & took it back. She kept coming back to the table for the next 15 minutes apologizing. She said she had 7 re-fires b/c the cooks had been messing up steaks all night. By the time I finally got my steak, everyone had already been finished eating for a while. She said she spoke with the manager & got us a 25% discount on our ticket for our trouble. I honestly felt like for all the trouble, my meal should have been free. Also, I feel like they should have given a discount to the rest of our party, who had to sit there forever & wait on me to get my food, before we could just put it in a to-go box & leave. This is not how Longhorn use to be. I hope it was just a bad night & not how their food & service has become...

I order the same steak most of the time. However the one served had a vain and it was very rubbery. Ok, that happens I understood. My waitress took it back and it took an hour for my 6oz sirloin to be cooked. By time I got my steak , our party was done eating and waiting on me. I asked if it was possible to get a discount because my onions and mushrooms were cold and it took so long. It was not busy keep in mind. The manager came over and explained to me that the steak I got never cooks right and was so rude and loud. I explained that it wasn't anyone's fault other than the sirloin had been a tough PC of the cut with the vain. She then then continued to explain how no one ever orders a 6 Oz sirloin medium rare ( I put hot mushrooms and onions on top so it continues to cook as it sits ) I finally asked her after about 5 minutes of her loud, rude, uneducated debate on how I was wrong ... if what your saying is true, then why is the 6oz sirloin medium rare that is now sitting on a plate, I picked up my fork and it sliced perfectly through the meat... I wasn't asking for a free meal , I ate my salad and side. However I was unable to enjoy my steak with the salad and side. At that point I was ready to send the steak back and pay top dollar for my pitifull excuse for supper! I continued with , sense your so sure of your conclusions, please explain to me why my onions and mushrooms are not going to be ill textured now that I must wait until I get home and reheat them, to enjoy with my steak that no one ever orders.... her reply was " just this once we will let you get away with your con " The waitress was so sweet and apologetic but needless to say I will not...
