Let me start by saying that I love PJs coffee, and I stop every morning on my way to school to grab a large cup. My usual PJs is in Slidell, Louisiana, but I found myself on Highway 21 two days ago for a workshop, and went out of my way to find a PJs. I usually walk in, get my coffee, get a much-appreciated teacher discount, and pay $2.65. Every time. I pay with my debit card and round to $5.00, every time. —I have never been asked for a STAR card, as my ID and keys are around my neck, I am never asked to give a phone number (as it is linked to my debit card, which I use every day at PJs in Slidell), and I have never been rudely dismissed, without my loyalty points, because “You must use another card at the other PJs.” I calmly explained that I only have one debit card, and that I have used the same card every single school day for the last five years. I was impolitely told I was wrong. And then I was charged $3.75 or so for my coffee. I questioned the figure only because, as I said, I get coffee every single day, and it’s always $2.65. Again, I was rudely told that the other PJs, in Slidell, must not be charging me enough. — So teacher friends, you may want to avoid the PJs on Highway 21, ZIP Code, 70456. The arrogant barista is named Rebecca, who without apology gave me me her name. You will not only pay more for your coffee at this PJs, you’ll be treated to rudeness. I leave reviews whenever google prompts me, as I like to show appreciation for others. Kindness is not abundant these days. I’ve never left a bad...
Read moreWonderful coffee and food. I always love the spinach & feta croissant and their mocha latte's!! They have so many options though. If you like coffee, tea, or those bright colored "loaded tea" things, they have it: hot, iced, or frozen. ☺️ Their double chocolate muffin is delicious as well as their other muffins & scones. (I'm sure you see the trend - we LOVE chocolate😜) They also serve lunch sandwiches. This location has several tall tables and chairs as well as some soft chairs and regular height tables and chairs. They have lots of PJ's swag as well: mugs, shirts, beautiful tumblers, lib balm, etc. Great place to have a meal or snack! Very clean. Definitely stop in if you are in...
Read moreOn October 4, 2022, I went to this PJ's in Covington. I ordered an iced herbal tea. The server brought back a black tea. I told him that is not an herbal tea. He gave me another tea. I said, "Is this an herbal iced tea?" He replied yes. Unfortunately, it was not an herbal tea. I am caffeine intolerant. I can only drink herbal teas due to my health condition. After drinking half, I realized he made the error. I wasted my time, my money , and my health. I have visited this PJ's almost every week. I realize that good service is hard to find, but he should be more careful what he was serving to his customers. What if I was a diabetic and he gave...
