We tried El Senor Salsa for the first time on Sunday. They draw a nice crowd on the weekends so we thought we would give it a try. On entry we were seated quickly without a smile or even a word from the hostess. Our waitress continued in the same fashion with no smile through out her service. Our food arrived hot and fresh and in a timely manner. It was very good. The restaurant looked clean and well maintained. As with going out to eat we all like to enjoy the ambiance and the social atmosphere that dining around others brings. However, there was a waiter that was quite unprofessional in my opinion. Whenever he carried drinks or plates of food from the kitchen to a table he would yell “BEEP BEEP.” Now I understand not wanting to run into someone while carrying a plate of food but this seems to be a routine for him. So much so an elder lady was walking past our table in the isle with her cane and moving rather slow. She was almost out of the isle when he comes out of the kitchen with a tray of what looked to be Margaritas. Instead of just waiting till she took 3 more steps out of the isle he proceeds to BEEP BEEP at her and literally squeeze past! She was clearly taken aback by his rudeness as were we. Customer service should always be a priority in business. It is what I put at the top when evaluating what we choose or where we go. I hope this was an isolated incident because their...
Read moreI haven’t eaten here in years. We decided to try it since much of the bigger town over was out of power. My nephews said their “cheese” enchilada’s were good, but they were hungry and just inhaled them. The queso was fine - just cheese again of course. I got “steak/beef” fajitas for my daughter and I’m certain it wasn’t beef! There wasn’t enough meat there to make one decent fajita and I had to spit half of it out because it was gristle. The pieces were so tiny, I could barely find them, it was just a tiny bit of some kind of meat covered in peppers, onions and tomatoes - it was basically like getting vegetarian fajitas. I think my husband got ribs of some sort, said they were fine, covered in sauce. The refried beans were thin and flavorless as was the rice. That was their last...
Read moreThe first two times I at this place it wasn’t too bad. The third time ate. There was one of the worst food experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve had fish tacos at a lot of places and they’re usually pretty good but this was the nastiest smelling Fish or whatever it was that I have smelt in my entire life I took one bite and that’s all I could stand. We went ahead and paid for the meal and everything without really complaining and my wife had chili Riano‘s and they stuck in on a bed of beans and they were pretty nasty this time also, which you’re usually pretty good but I wouldn’t suggest this place to anybody there’s a place right up the road called three tequilas which is awesome. Wish we would’ve went there. They were just so crowded but anyway, if you want a bad...
