SHORT VERSION: Priced too high. Food looks and tastes disgusting. Service is poor. Full price for soda refills. The chips are good. Decent salsa. Food is on the table within 5 minutes. FULL REVIEW: We finally ventured to the ugliest building in Coweta, OK. We were not greeted at the door. A lady directed us to a booth while carrying on a conversation in Spanish with her coworkers. She walked away without ever even looking at us. It was awkward. The food is brought to you LIGHTNING FAST...we were both shocked at how quickly the plates were brought out. However, my cheese enchiladas were like string cheese, almost room temp, in a hard to chew tortilla. The cheese inside was like rubber chunks (see photos). My wife ordered fajitas, and we decided to share. However, the fajitas were more like a greasy fajita stew. They were floating in a skillet full of greasy water. In addition, the tortillas looked like 90 year old wrinkly skin. They were wadded up in foil and got wet, and trying to unwrap and separate the tortillas was like trying to pull apart wet masking tape. Apparently, you have to pay full price for a refill of soda...which didn't turn out to matter since the soda mix was off...it contained so little syrup it just tasted like carbonated water. For years we have thought about stopping in and trying this place. We have no intentions of ever coming back.

Good food. I had my usual carne asada; it was good. A thin rib eye steak grilled, served with rice beans and guacamole. It is especially good served with a chili toreado. They have very hot sauce if you ask for it. My wife had the carne asada street tacos. Very good! The service is quick, the waiters are friendly. A great place for working folks in the area that are on a short lunch hour. Having tried the other Mexican restaurants in Coweta, I believe this is the best in town. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.

Came here at the recommendation of the hotel I'm staying at. Customer service was excellent with all the employees I interacted with being very friendly and engaging. Salsa was great, the appetizer I ordered, Queso Fundido, was awesome, and the burrito, Burrito Patron, put me in food coma. It was excellent and the three sauces on top made it a great experience for me. If I'm in the area again I would definitely stop by, and would recommend Los Tequilas to anyone looking for some great good and service.

I really have not eaten there but I have done some DoorDashes out of this business and smelling the food it smells great and I've seen some delivered to the table while I was sitting there waiting to pick some up to deliver the customers and they're really friendly in there and it look like there's plenty of happy customers they thanked me for being their delivery driver for their business and it's a small little place but you can see it I recommend trying it I do I recommend it I would like to try it clean floors nice atmosphere courteous respectful I don't see a reason why I should say anything bad about this place at all. Coweta is a nice little town for sure for sure My honest simple opinion and review about this place reason why I didn't write the food down cuz I haven't eaten food but I'm...

The food was delivered to the table cool to the touch. The fajitas were obviously not fresh & the rice had just been taken out of the fridge as it was cold. The staff ignored our table for 40 minutes, offering no refills on drinks or chips, not checking on us or our food especially since we weren’t eating it. We got no ticket & had to go get our own to go boxes so that we could take the food home to heat up. It’s one of the few Mexican restaurants in Coweta & obviously they’re not concerned with their customers since there’s no where within 15 miles to go for Mexican cuisine. If you are wanting good food that’s fresh & hot,...
