Hunan Wok — Restaurant in Cranford

We have been ordering from Hunan Wok for years. One month ago we received our food and there was a hair in the lo mein. We thought maybe it was my son's. We threw it out any way. We ordered last week and my daughter opened her container and there was a hair and she thought it was hers, but she threw out the food that had the hair on it. Then she found another hair and then another hair. Short black Asian hair. We all stopped eating and threw out the food. My daughter threw up. I called and asked to talk to Leo but he wasn't there. The woman on the phone said she was sorry and they would send another General Tso's to replace the one with hair in it. Ummmm, let's see.......NO bleeping WAY!! I know they don't use hair nets, so I suggested maybe they should. She said no. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER eat here again. I am so disgusted and grossed out that I can not eat Chinese food now. I can't ever trust their food any more. I keep picturing little black hairs in the food and it makes me sick to my stomach. My kids don't want to order Chinese food anymore either. We are so happy...

It doesn’t allow me to give zero stars and still write a review therefore you get one measly star. I spent $56 there and picked up my order. Arriving home found out I only had one of the three eggrolls that I ordered and paid for. I called the restaurant and was prepared to say just leave a credit for me or I’ll get the eggrolls another time spoke to the person who took the orders on the phone who then put on the owner. She called me a liar basically. She told me she put three eggrolls in the bag and I told her that there was only one in the bag. She said I was trying to get free food, I said if I wanted to get free food I would’ve claimed to be missing a $16 entrée not a three dollar eggroll. She said she’d send a delivery boy to my address to drop off the eggrolls. He just showed up and I told him how frustrated I was he told me he believes his boss and that I am a liar. I will never ever frequent this place again. To think that you are accusing me of stealing when it’s they who are the thieves. Taking my money and not providing product....

My husband and I called today to place an order for delivery and the lady who answered asked for the address , and she said hold on, she comes back on the phone yelling saying i can’t deliver to your house it’s 1 hour and 7 minutes away . My husband is trying to explain to her we only live 10-12 minutes away and she kept yelling cutting us off saying I can’t deliver that far call Uber or come pick up your food . She says she googled our address and it’s too far. Mind you they delivered to my house about 3 times .10-12 minutes away. I am highly upset and this is why I’m wasting my time writing a bad review !!
