Oh look another price increase while it still takes half an hour for a coffee
You have got to do something about the traffic pattern. Pick one system and stick with it. This everyday is a new system is ridiculous. I was only there about 15 minutes (which is way better than most days) and I watched half a dozen people get frustrated and leave, but it's a regular occurrence. I was an every day regular since they opened but it's such a hassle to go and fight your way through the line all while risking a traffic ticket because I placed a mobile order and there's no way to cancel it. This location recently closed for 2 weeks for "renovations" and not only did they ignore the traffic problem, they repainted the lines in the parking lot exactly as they were effectively giving the finger to all their regular customers. It's always been a busy location but it was never this bad. 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee is just insane. You used to run mobile orders or to the cars... what happened to that? If Chick Fil A can do it with hot meals surely you can figure it out with drinks and prepackaged food items. Think about your customers, staff up, train better, etc but do whatever it takes to...
Read moreAnother person below said it best. This is not a location for those with any kind of anxiety. I’ve managed to get through the drive through here once and the service was super polite and my drink was good, but the first time I ever attempted to go through the drive through I legitimately thought someone was going to assault me! I’m new to the area and have never in my whole life seen a Starbucks with a drive through “system” like this - there’s no signage anywhere indicating how you should pull through so I turned in thinking I was just driving up to the line as I would at any other drive through when someone on the “outer line” near the drive through window started beeping at me like crazy. I assumed it was because maybe she was impatient or just being rude until another man actually got out of his car and started yelling approaching my car. Once I rolled down my window explained I had no idea what was going on in earnest he apologized but best believe I maneuvered my way out without ordering anything bc I was so over it at that point. Subsequently I will not enter this location if I see the infamous line wrapped around the store - Starbucks really isn’t worth a...
Read moreStarbucks is ok, but this is a DRIVE-THRU only Starbucks! Nothing wrong with that, but there is often a lengthy line of cars in a tiny drive-thru, sometimes trailing out to the side of the main road via the entrance (yes, somewhat hazardous). Since the Starbucks is two blocks away from the Garden State Parkway, I stop here practically everyday before heading to work. EXPECT a line during morning rush hours. On average 8-10 min wait if there is a line. This time can be cut in half if you preorder using the Starbucks App. When you make it up to the order screen, simply say "I'm picking up an order for (your name)." A barista will immediately come out the side door and walk your order to your car. You then simply pull to the right and exit out the exit-only side driveway. This walk to your car service is only available...
