Tony's Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Cranston

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. Let me start by saying I receivedan unbelievably upbeat greeting when i walked in the door. One of the owners, Smaro, was of the wall great. I ordered potato skins and a pepperoni pizza. The potato skins were very nicely done. They were crispy on the outside and just right on the inside. This is my 195th pizza review on Google Maps, and well over 100 of these are Greek pizzas. This was the best Greek pizza i have ever had. There is real passion for the craft here. A beautiful cruddy with great crisp on the bottom yet wonderfully chewy. Excellent sauce with over the top flavor. They shred all of their own cheese here and it shows. My parents & I always like to try a new restaurant and we landed at Tony's Pizza Palace today!! I've been encouraged by my friends recently to try this place. We walked in and were greeted by the pleasant woman behind the counter (found out, she was the owner). Our order was pretty simple: pepperoni pizza and onion rings. All 3 of us agreed that the pizza was Very crispy on the bottom, along with the crust!! Great taste!! The onion rings very delicious too!! As we sat looking outside, we commented on how the outside dining area was So Inviting with the beautiful flower planters, string lights and tables/chairs!! Always Fantastic food. When Dave’s bought the original location and Chris decided to re-located across the street, i’m sure the entire neighborhood was relieved to see that this local iconic restaurant was going to re-open..... and recently did. Absolutely perfectly prepared food each time. I am absolutely certain that Tony’s will be as successful as the last. Someone who has been in the neighborhood as long as he has, deserves our patronage. Big box restaurants are everywhere. Local entrepreneurship is rare these days.
