Swell coffee bar — Restaurant in Crescent City

Newer coffee bar in town only a few months in business. We stopped to get a coffee and I was hoping for a sweet, but they were all out. I don't think they carry much. I also asked for whipped cream on my mocha, which they also don't have. I don't mind a little bit of cinnamon in my coffee, but I wasn't expecting it in my mocha, and not that much. It's a cute place and hopefully they will get their feet under them in a short amount of time and add some essentials as business grows. I'll go back. Now that I know what to expect, I'll like...

I've been a few times now, and I generally go in as a clueless coffee-guy and go with their recommendations. The coffee's been delicious, I've tried both the Gibraltar and the Flash Brew and I'm starting to feel really spoiled to have this little spot so close to me.

The menu is pretty compact, but I get the impression that they're going for quality over quantity. Food options are a little limited, but I've tried both their pumpkin and blueberry coffeecake, ridiculously good.

Loved this place. The coffee is so good and they add cute aesthetics like chocolate shavings or foam art on top. One of the owners makes gluten free bakery items, which taste great. We had the blueberry coffee cake and loved it. The owners and workers are also very friendly and talked with us quite a while. Highly recommend to anyone who wants great coffee...
