We were very excited to try this Mexican place, as it had good reviews on the find me gluten free app (I have celiac). However we were quite disappointed. The menu was large and had lots of options for my gluten eating partner (he says his burrito was pretty average), however the staff had zero knowledge of gluten free and seemed quite rushed. The only option I was really provided was the taco salad which consisted of wet lettuce, unflavourful chicken & tomato and I paid to add on sour cream and guacamole as well as a side of pinto beans. When I asked questions based on information from the gluten free app, they told me that was the only gluten free option as most things went into the contaminated fryer or has gluten in a sauce (eg enchiladas, fajita veggies, tortilla chips). I still managed to somewhat enjoy it as I am used to limited gluten free options, however I discovered within a couple hours that my meal did contain gluten somewhere as I was very sick and in a lot of pain. We do understand it is a small business, however we were still overall disappointed with the food quality and service. I would definitely not recommend to anyone with celiac disease or any...

I really struggled finding vegetarian food during my road trip from Seattle to San Francisco, but had plenty of choice at Cazadores. I ordered a chimichanga and just said I'd be happy with any filling as long as it was vegetarian. I would easily rate the food I received as one of the top three meals I had the whole trip. It wouldn't have won prizes for a fancy presentation, but it was absolutely delicious. I even ordered another vegetarian chimichanga at another Mexican restaurant in a different town later in our trip, and it was not a patch on the one I had at Cazadores. If I lived locally I'd be back regularly. Its furnishings are homely, the carpet shows where children have dropped bits of rice, but the benches give you lots of privacy and it's a place you can relax in. The young ladies who served us were lovely and hard working. Who would have thought a casual Mexican restaurant in an everyday unit in Crescent City would turn out to be one of the favourite...

So we had a big Bday for a friend. About 15 of us.. we were spoken to very rude day of party we made reservations. They got pissy when we went to decorate and that set the mood seeing they kept grumbling over time we wanted to be there. Soooo. Food was amazing best Mexican food in some time. Bu for me. Sept, and some time it happens that a hair will be in ur food. But it was bad like a ball omg in my food at first I thot was cheese string but no. Well don't kill the messanger cuz ya... Wasn't my fault however now I have pist them off. I was a cook for 25 yrs and ran my own place sometimes like I said. But don't be mean. We actually had pooled in and almost 100 bucks for a tip. Ya lucky if they made 10 bucks n it was poor service period. U shouldn't base your tips on the way folks look we all had cash!!! And wear hair nets if you can't...

Delicious authentic food and the service was pleasant. Small mom and pop joints like this brings the best flavors. Tortilla soup was refreshing but it was loaded with tortilla which soaked up most of the broth which was sad. Large enough for everyone to sink their spoons in. Kids cheese quesadilla was a large portion but delicious. Chips and salsa was great. Had to do another round because the salsa was consumed fast. The molcajete was large enough to serve me, husband, and 17yr old daughter--while younger daughter enjoyed her quesadilla. It came with steak, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables with a platter of tortillas, rice, guac, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. They had cholula but offered their spicy salsa and it was perfect! Delicious and filling. Definitely a stop if you're in town.

My husband said it’s the most flavorful. I love a little kick and they did not disappoint. The onions cooked beautifully. I see why they have a 4 and a half star rating. My experience was a solid 5 stars. Loved it! Would be back Edit: My husband after reading the review - want to come back tomorrow for lunch? Me, yes :) 👏🏻
