Redwood Curtain BBQ Co. — Restaurant in Crescent City

This is my special treat BBQ, on the full moon or when I need comfort. I got the combo plate,loaded with plenty o meat (smoked chicken, tri tip, and pulled pork), and 2 sides (i chose mac n cheese, and potato salad)

The meat is so good and fresh, perfectly seasoned, moist and rich! Living single, I ate the combo for 2 days, happily :) the cashier was super friendly and suggested i mix the bbq sauce with their white horseradish sauce and I LOVE IT! Next time im going to order 2 tubs of the mixed sauces, and an extra bbq sauce tub with my combo. The meat is so good I ate it cold for lunch and it was still delicious!

The mac n cheese is rib-stickin' heavy and satisfying! Not watery creamy cheese, its thick rich cheese with elbow noodles. I love that i can get the perfect bite every time onto my fork because the mac n cheese hangs onto itself.

The potato salad is perfect, fresh and tasty. I like how they ball the potato chunks, no skin, easy on the relish. This is my perfect combo order, i like going between each part, cheesey to meat, cheesy to potato salad, meat to meat.

Their drinks are fab, they have canned sodas in cool summer flavors, sugar free! I got the sugar free cherry limeade, perfect with the bbq and hot walk back...

I don’t know where to begin! It’s a cozy little place with amazing attentive people. I am unsure of her name but she answered all of our many questions and let us sample anything we wanted to try. We got their tri-tip sandwich with one of their homemade sauces I can’t remember what it’s called but it had chipotle in it and it was sweet and spicy it was so sooo good!!! There was so much meat! We got our kids the Mac and cheese side and a 1/2 pound of their chicken thighs and they ate it up quick! We had so much food that we had leftovers. We are a family of 5 and growing and we were able to get a ton of food for around $50 and they were extremely generous!! I am not kidding when I say we had so much leftovers after getting our fill! My husband went with a cup with tri -tip and the Mac and a piece of cornbread as well and he LOVED every bite! The prices were amazing and the food was even better. I can’t get over how amazing these people were. As soon as the cook/ husband maybe heard our order he was on it and it took nearly seconds to be loaded down with our haul! If you are looking for a quick but good bite to eat you should really give these nice...

Tonight was the first night that I have been to this establishment. When I got home and bit into the chicken, the amount of smoke flavor that was in the chicken was incredibly perfect. They gave me both of the sauces that they made and they were fantabulous. I also got one of their pulled pork sandwiches. With the redwood sauce and that pulled pork sandwich, I thought I was in heaven. The mac and cheese was right on point. I am a sucker for cheese and this mac and cheese was probably one of the best that I have ever had. I also had some of their creamy bacon pasta and all I can say is wow. As I am writing this review, I can fill my mouth start to water again. Just remembering how good the flavors were in their food. It is such a breath of fresh air to have such good barbecue in town. Once again. Thank you for opening up your shop and I truly hope that you are able to stick around for as long as I live here because I guarantee you are going to be taking a good portion of my paycheck every week LOL. Keep up...
