Joey's Crest Hill — Restaurant in Crest Hill

First time visiting this place, and if I could give it zero stars, I would. Went in to order a pizza and fries. The guy at the register was nice. However, the worker in the blue hoodie went to cook my food, and he opened up the refrigerator and grabbed my pizza puff with his bare hands. I didn't too much care because the hot grease would remove any germs. As it was cooking, he started talking to the other worker and lifted his hat and wiped the sweat from his face then used the same hand to cough with that same hand. All while this is happening, he kept looking over at me as if he was doing it on purpose (but I'm hoping that's not the case). So I told the guy who was working the register to just give me my fries and that I didn't want the pizza puff. He said, "Are you sure?" And I said "Yes because I let it go when he grabbed the pizza puff with his bare hands but the sweat wiping and coughing with no gloves on is too much!" He asked again, "Are you sure, I'm sorry!" I said, "Yes, because that's extremely unsanitary, especially to be cooking food. This man has no gloves on and he's doing everything(coughing/wiping sweat) all while cooking food It's too much stuff going on!" I then grabbed my fries and left. I...

Man was this place horrible got a couple of hot dogs and pizza puff fries some jalapeno poppers oh my god let's start with the hot dogs first off you don't take a hot dog put it in a piece of foil that up so tight that it squashed like somebody was grabbing their penis all night long the hot dog was ice cold and it was just it was horrible second the pizza Puff fried to a crisp on the outside but it was still practically Frozen on the inside the jalapeno poppers same thing fried the crisp on the outside practically uncooked on the inside let's mention the onion rings ordered overcooked and burnt to a crisp garbage call Avenue in a lot of hot dog stands in all my years of living man but this is by far one of the worst I've ever had to displeasure of get food from I mean how do you mess up hot dogs the way they did a piece above the way they did on greens and everything that we ordered that day it's just trying to do everything too fast and being lazy and not giving a s* about what you're putting out there and putting in my bag that I paid for but I will say one thing that was good the cup of cheese that came with the fries that was good it didn't...

The food and staff are awesome. I have brought the kids back here a couple times this week just trying to try as many things off of the menu as I can because I feel like this is going to be a frequent stop for food on busy family days... That being said, I really wish there was more room inside to wait for food. It was raining out the last time I visited and it was jam packed on the inside and you really can't wait for your food in your car here, so I was standing out in the rain with my kids waiting on our food.
