Panera Bread — Restaurant in Crestview Hills

I would NOT order catering from this location. It does not say it on their website, but they do not prepare the catering order there. It is prepared in Florence and brought over to this store. I catered a small breakfast meeting for a prospective client. When I went to pick up the order, six bagels had been put into a small shopping bag, with the top wide open. When I asked if they could put them into something else, they acted like I was being a pain. Then I asked about utensils and paper goods, and they opened the box of pastries and it was laying in the same box, with icing all over everything and a utensil stuck to the top of a pastry. (Very unappealing and embarrassing had I walked in and opened it in front of the office personnel.) They said they didn't have the proper packaging because they don't do catering there anymore. I had done a similar breakfast at the Newport location a couple weeks ago, and it was wonderful. ...

We stopped for a quick lunch on our way to an appointment. We ordered 2 kids peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, 1 with chips, 1 with an apple, and 2 kids mac and cheese, both with chips. Apparently ordering one with an apple totally flustered the guy at the register. He was so "confused" he said. Wow. Then we went to find an empty table. There were plenty of tables, but every single one of them were dirty. So I went to the counter and asked if we could get a table wiped off before our food was up. One girl looked at me like I had two heads. When they called my name to pick up the food we were still waiting for a clean table. Finally, my daughter wet some napkins and cleaned a table. It was well past the lunch rush at 2pm, and there were at least 8 people working behind the counter. Needless to say we won't come here again. Piss poor management, as well as...

I visited this location on Sunday morning (8:45). There were three women serving customers. There were very few people in line and not many people in the restaurant. There was no dark-roast coffee. There may have been decaf, and there was a little hazelnut coffee. This is a constant issue with this Panera as coffee decanters are often empty. It would seem that there should be a system in place where empty containers are replaced relatively quickly. Also, one of the women had very long hair pulled back into a pony tail. The very long hair coming out of the pony tail was loose. I did not like seeing someone with very long hair not pulled totally up and out of the way. I will not be in a hurry to visit Panera again.
