Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Crestview

I was trying to order online, online didnt give a "cash" option so we called the store. My husband tried to place an order for delivery. Y'all have always delivered out here at night once the north store closes no problem. The CSR said no they couldnt delivery out here. We told her the website said yes and they had before, so then she got the manager (some guy) on the phone who told my husband "you know its late man and we are closing soon... and I dont want to send my driver out... that's real far out there... thats a long way bro..." The store is 6 miles away and maybe a 8 min drive. It was 9:30 at night... There is no reason why I as a customer should be turned away, especially when the store doesnt even close for 30 minutes!! What it sounds like is they want to wrap up early and not have to wait on they driver to get back!! This it completely unprofessional behavior. My husband is not a "bro" and I dont care if its inconvenient for them or not to stay until the end of their shift because their driver has to make a late delivery! That's literally in their job description. I have never had a single issue or problem with any of the drivers, let me say that, but let me also say that I am sick and fed up with wrong food I always get I don't complain about because its not even worth the battle because all I get is attitude when I do call, and I am sick and tired of the overwhelming unprofessional behavior of whoever it is they have in those stores running them (north and south locations)!!! We literally give your business $100s of dollars a week, but now we fall under Papa Johns service area... I'm about done...

Ordered delivery 5/23/15. Complaints: 1) Ordered Barqs rootbeer as site showed, got Mug (taste different and no caffeine...). 2) Ordered garden salad with Italian, got ranch. 3) Salad was -very- warm, was kept in the same hot box as pizza. 4) The breadsticks that came with my meal were super salty and rather hard, so one bite and tossed in the trash... 5) Took 50+ mins for my order to get here, the place is literally a three minute drive...I know I ordered around dinner and took the weekend in consideration but seriously, that's a real long time for something to be out.6) Ordered chicken parm. spaghetti with added mushrooms, they FORGOT the chicken...The chicken bit was the worst to me, the final straw. It's a chicken parm. spaghetti! If I wanted just spaghetti I would've ordered that!

If I had a bike or car at the time of this, or mosquitoes didn't feed on me like I was a walking buffet, I would've gone down and placed my order in person, ate there, and probably been better off. If they were out of barqs or don't serve it (which case they need to update their website then), if they were out of chicken, I mean c'mon, I had my PHONE NUMBER on the order, they could've easily called, and I could've ordered a Pepsi or something (needed some caffeine badly), and would've been fine with getting spaghetti with mushrooms. But the fact they messed up the entire order and I'm out $20 for a meal I wasn't pleased with at all is very upsetting. Just order Dominos, never had them royally screw up an order...

The food was done fast here. Done within minutes of the estimate which was 20. Had a Flatbread pizza, wings, and an Italian sub. The pizza was cooked to what I would consider just about perfect. I liked the look of their cheese on that pizza from the beginning. Cudos. Wish there was more bacon and bell pepper on it though. We pay for it so I'd hope for a bit more for the price. The Buffalo chicken wasn't bad. I liked the flavor if the sauce. I'd prefer a different breading style. This one is more of the mini crumbs breading type that's kinda like shake and bake rather than the batter like Popeyes or any like that. Not that it's a bad type but just a style that's not my first choice. Still good, though. Their cheese bread.....amazing. at first I was disappointed I didn't c any dipping sauce cups but it was actually great without. The Italian sub was for my sons to split and they both gobbled it down. Their picky boys so that says a lot. My main issue was that the Italian sub had no way to order it with veggies in it. Their either on the side or not at all when you create an online order like I did. And the other issue I had that was mentioned is that theor is not enough of each paid for topping...
