Local here. Live down the street. When it first opened it was great! Good food, ok service for just having opens but very nice inside with a fantastic drink machine that you usally only see in big cities (of course it was new). Now, not so much. Hard to believe its just a few years old. Sears ripped, dirty and stickies countertops, the soda machine is ALWAYS out of any of the choices (why bother even having that fancy thing 🤨). Last time I couldn't even get coke and had to ask them to fill behind the counter. My last few grilled chicken wraps have been stone cold, chicken has been dry and hard and the wrap was hard on the edges and stale. My pull apart cinabun could be used as a hockey puck. They replace it but the 2nd wasn't much better once it cooled down enough to eat it. I ended up actually breaking my plastic fork on it trying to poke at it so I just tossed it. There always seems to be one person doing everything while everyone stands there pretending to work- usally at the drive through. Most are on their phones and not paying attention. As we were eating our meal the last time, we had the displeasure of a young lady spraying cleaner on the tables and chairs around us that wofted all over our food as we ate.( As a former waitress/server, this is a HUGE no-no to do when patrons/clients are around). The drive-thru is terrible. Always a lineup. Takes forever to get through and if by some act of god it doesn't, you better believe they’ve got your order wrong. More times than not onions if we asked for none, fries missing, no straws with our drinks, Frostys not filled all the way and multiple items on the menu ‘unavailable’. A few times I ordered at the intercom and after 3 choices were unavailable, I finally found one that was to order… only to drive up at the pay window to be told sorry- it was unavailable… (oh com’mon!)
It’s just such a shame. One of the better fast food restaurants as you first enter or exit Crestview from the North has now gone down the tubes. You would think that alone would entice the owners of this establishment to want to leave a lasting impression on those who visit… (they are but not in a positive way I assure you)… I was hoping it was just a glitch but it just seems to be getting worse with time. Very sad. Those that leave a raving review of how amazing this place is- shame on you- its not helping anyone. The owners and managers need to put their adult pants on, step up and LEAD to get this place back to what it used to be. It WAS good. Do better...
Read moreThe service I received from Eric at Wendy’s on Hwy85 and Airport Rd was abhorrent. I waited for exactly 25 minutes before I said something, when I noticed someone who arrived after me, received their food before me. (Wendy’s is so unorganized that they literally had no idea that they did this when I addressed it) There was zero sense of urgency by the entire staff. When I finally said something about the time I had spent waiting, Eric (the obese man in the kitchen) replied “can’t you see we are busy” to which I replied that I had been waiting for almost half an hour and haven’t even received the cups for my drinks. Cause god forbid they make the drinks! Instead of taking any responsibility or showing any empathy for the inconvenience, he literally said if I’m going to “be that way” then he’ll just cancel the order, and he canceled my order (without my acknowledgment of cancellation) and refused to serve me. He said the same thing to the man next to me that he would refund his order. At least the man next me received an option to cancel and I didn’t. Eric didn’t care to use any deescalation techniques. This treatment feels like discrimination towards me because I am a woman. The person that arrived after me and left before me was a (white) man and the man that was offered an optional refund was a man. This type of treatment is absolutely disgusting and I refuse to ever step foot in a Wendy’s again. When I asked him for the number to corporate, he obnoxiously replied “please do” and just gave me a blank receipt so I am unable to even file a proper complaint. This employee offered no apologies, did not provide an ETA of order readiness, nor did he even give me the cup for my order. He instead acted arrogantly, offered refunds to anyone who complained and frankly didn’t even give me the option to decide if I wanted to wait. It was 100% evident that this man is ill equipped to handle a leadership position, and cares more about his ego than the company that employs him. This unprofessionalism is reflective upon Wendy’s and its organization for allowing this type of treatment...
Read moreWendy's has always been a favorite place of mine for drive through. Can always count on the consistency and even if the fries are cold or the sandwich is on the sloppy side it still beats the competition out of the water. My husband didn't think the ghost pepper nuggets would be too much to handle. Oh me gosh! Nice job Wendy's! You won! He couldn't even come up with an excuse. Lol. He has always had something to say about how he could make them spicier or picking apart the flavor profile of anything ghost or habanero flavored. Y'all left him speechless. DISREGARD ABOVE REVIEW READ THIS: I'm pretty sure my French fries have been taken out of the walk in from lunch my double stack ended up being a nasty jr bacon cheeseburger with nasty . mayonnaise all over it even on the top of the bun. And the nuggets. Seriously. The fries are dry cold and depressing to try and chew and the nuggets are a freezing cold and soggier than a wet sock And how do I tell the difference between spicy buffalo and just buffalo when they're all just stacked on top of each other in the same bag? I mean once you realized you gave my order out to some else how can you even face the customers when you just fix a mistake towards someone with the wrong order that isn't suitable to feed a stray cat? Shame on y'all. Biggest disappointment this year by far. This is why you don't do drugs at work. I mean the public...
