Waited an hour for my food for take out. I watched people come in, get sat, pay and leave and I didnāt even get a heads up it would be that long. Then I get my wonāt order with 2 of them smaller than my thumb and I wish I was exaggerating, but sadly Iām not. I get no response from anyone other than to say they canāt control that. Iāve gone once a week for a while since I live walking distance and Iāve noticed a significant decline in service and the quality. Always understaffed and as understandable as that can be when itās an every day thing thatās on management. Everyone is overworked and no one is ever at the counter when itās busy, I watched DoorDash drivers pile up at the counter and really given no eta on late orders. Get it together management. Also, you might think youāre slick but not only had wing prices gone up, theyāve gotten a lot smaller and even the sauce cups are half size. Like if youāre charging more to keep up, at least do it to keep the quality the same, but both combined is unacceptable and either management thinks people donāt notice or they donāt care. I asked why I had a wing the size of my thumb and was just told they donāt control it, they didnāt even acknowledge that I waited an hour (ticket times are on the receipt so I proved I wasnāt exaggerating). No one was at the counter more than like 30 seconds before having to leave to help run food or serve tables. Thatās just unfair to everyone as Iāve experienced it myself working in the industry. Not worth it with so many other options are around the area. I even went back this week and they forgot all my sides and when I went back I couldnāt even beg someone to come help me, everyone that could was doing 3 other things and I even ordered ahead on the app and it was 20 minutes late not counting this.Iāve tried to be patient since I go a lot, but I can only get robbed so much before I say something and it takes a lot for that. I thought I was clever when I called in an order just minutes after they opened up one day. They put me on hold for 2 minutes, so I awkwardly waited for them to pick up, again knowing that this wasn't the best idea, but morbid curiosity dragged me on. They pick up and take my order like it's any other day.
I arrive. There's one, just one single person doing everything from serving people to taking orders to giving them out. She seemed like she was new-ish to the job so I tried my best to be polite, knowing the unforgettable horrors of food service.
It was undeniable that this wasn't going to be a 5 star experience when she gave me my food and just straight up forgot to have me pay for it. I walked away knowing I didn't pay a penny, but I knew it would've been a huge headache for the both of us if I actually brought it up. Peeking into the box sitting on my lap in the car, the wings looked alright, and I was actually just a little excited to try them out when I got home.
Finally, I crack open a cold can of Pepsi, previously waiting patiently for my return in the fridge, and gobbled down wings while revisiting Season 1 of Infinity Train. I felt indifferent, as if I microwaved leftovers because it was the only thing left to eat, nibbling and chewing on the unsatisfying flavors and spices. I knew at that point this was the best it was ever going to be and my amazing past experiences with Buffalo Wing Wings are forever painted in melancholic rose tinted glasses, wishing I could go back even for just a tiny moment. We had chosen to go here for my husband's birthday. There were 10 of us in total which would typically be a delay with our orders but there were only maybe six other tables that were occupied. We ordered a few apps for starters and we actually got them pretty quick which we thought would be how the rest of the evening would be. When our appetizers arrived we placed our regular food order. 50 minutes later the waitress finally walked past us and we had to stop her to ask for refills on our drinks since we had all drank our first servings. In the time we waited for our food another table had arrived and had already been served (table of 6 for your reference). We asked the waitress about our food and she said it was in the window and she'd get it. 15 more minutes went by and she brought most of our meals, all except for one of the kids. She had ordered grilled chicken and oranges. The waitress said it takes longer to cook the grilled chicken than the burgers and wraps that everyone else had. All of our food was not fresh. I had a wrap that the tortilla was falling apart, there was no sauce which it was the buffalo ranch wrap so I requested a side of sauce to add to my food. Everyone's fries were over salted and cold.
