Romo's Mexican Resturant — Restaurant in Crossville

I will never return to to romos in crossville and and eat . Me and my husband visited there on. 9/11/2020 & paid almost 50 $ for bad service and bad good and a rude waiter and manager, the milk I ordered came to me remind u this is during covid 19 pandemic , but came to me in a dirty glass with dead gnats floating in it ,when I showed the waiter he said let me get u a new one , 1st off how was that not noticed 2nde came back said sorry that was the last glass of milk we had. So that told me gnats hacontted it all ,cause we all know a restaurant like that wont run out of milk needed for cooking and ect .. especially when there next to numerous stores . I wasn't offered not 1 refill on my tea witch mind ya when I adk for splenda had taken almost 10 min and my ice had melted so I had warm tea the whole meal . 3rd my cheese dip witch they charges me 3.50$ for even tho the menus started it was included in the meal had gotten so cold it had filmed over already and when I asked for A 1 for my steak withing 15 min I had 2 not 1 but 2 bottles completely empty brought to me finally after 20 min I got a bottle with some in it and could start to eat my already cold steak . The waiter didnt ar a mask ir gloves to serve the drinks or food he disnt come back adk if we needed refills or ect he also had brought chips to table when we first arrived and about 4 min after me and my husband had both ate a few chips and salsa out of the chip bowl came back brought a green basket of chips and removed the red one after he seen us reach into it and eat a chop starting it was someone else's and proceeded to take it to that table where he sat it for the people never telling them we had ate out if it . When I tried to complain to someone the waiter came took our ticked from his hand nudged him out of the way and preceded to try tell me we were joy double charged so he could make a to, as if I were not educated in mathematics and could see my self , at this point we just paid it in protest it was clear he wouldn't allow anyone else to speak to us so when we left I called main guy he giggled at my statements and replied I'll speak to the guy I was appalled and angry at the nerve of the staff. He didnt wouldn't refund our money not where we was double charged never apologised for the behavior either , and on too that me and my husband ended up sick with food poisoning from the steaks being cold and apparently out of date prior to being put on the grill . My opinion health dept should make a visit to this place guarantee it be shut down if they did . My husband and I have to say our experience was horrific wouldn't recommend it...

It's very said that u lost my father and it took all my money tomorrow take care of his funeral so money is scarce but to go here and order my food and it being so hard that I cannot even eat it I'm ashamed but I have no teeth do to a medical issue but I could not even eat the first bit of it now anybody with any of type of respect for there customer would ask if there was something the matter with the food or anything but not here I get a $16.00 bill and when I go to pay I'm ignored 2 people are waited ahead of me cause I guess there friend s till me in my frustrations just leave. Where to begin. I will have to give credit the establishment was nice looking for a Mexican restaurant, but the service and the food we received was least to be expected. My fiancee's dinner was just plain n blan. The enchilada was just plain beef with No flavor, and in a Tamale shell. The burrito was just a plain soft shell with just plain beef and NOTHING else in it. The Chalupa was same way Blan n plain. The shell was soggy and no flavor . My Chimichanga was ok but the shrimp,beef steak, and chicken was overcooked and no flavor. I was under the impression the Mexican food is to have flavor, NOT plain and BLAN. We have been to other Mexican establishments and it is a know different thing.
