Just moved to town the 1st of April, 2024 and decided to try this place out with my daughters. I LOVE Fajitas, and given the fact that the name of the Restaurant is literally FAJITA HOUSE, I was really looking forward to it...ONLY TO BE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED IN/BY IT!!! I actually made the comment to my daughters, just after being seated, that I hope the appearance and atmosphere of the Restaurant did not match up with the taste and quality of the food, as it certainly has no ambiance of an Authentic Mexican Food Restaurant (or even Tex-Mex either, for that matter)!!! I literally took ONE bite of the rice and it was horrendous and bland at the same time!!! Then, I also tried ONE small bite of the steak and one bite of the chicken BEFORE starting to make a fajita, and I SPAT BOTH PIECES OUT INTO MY NAPKIN, AND KNEW THAT I WAS DONE!!!!!!!! I then called the waitress over as soon as I saw her again, and asked her to "take it away", that I could not eat it!!! She was polite enough to ask if I wanted to replace it with anything else, to which I immediately declined!!! My daughters ordered the quesadilla and the nachos, and neither of them were happy with their food either (although they did eat most of it). They said that their food/meals had absolutely zero taste or flavoring/spices in/on them!!! The Restaurant did voluntarily remove the cost of my meal, which was appreciated, but overall, none of us were anywhere near happy or pleased with our experience there this evening!!!!! And because of these facts I've listed above, we NOT ONLY WILL NOT BE RETURNING, BUT WILL ALSO ONLY GIVE THEM A 1-⭐️ REVIEW!!! I hope that others who patronize their business are more pleased with their experiences than we were, but from my personal point of view, they shouldn't set their expectations too, too high!!!! 10 out of 10 DO NOT...
Read moreI have heard great things about this establishment and wanted to try it out. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the hostess which is always a plus. Our drink order was taken and we received chips and salsa. Our server came with our drinks and offered guacamole and queso, which we agreed.
Here's where things turned south. Our server bought out the chip accompaniments and sat them down. However as he went to place the queso, it spilled all over my husbands arm and clothes. They were accommodating in cleaning it up and even offered to "replace" the dish, but we declined.
We placed our order and was looking forward to the meal. My husband had the pastor taco plate and I had the chicken enchiladas. The beans were a tad salty, the rice was a bit dry, and the enchiladas lacked authenticity with the red and green sauce. I've had plenty of Hispanic dishes served and watched my Godmother create them from scratch. I know not to expect much from commercial establishments but I expected better from this location.
We received our check and was surprised that they not only didn't offer a discount for the incident, but still charged us for the queso. We gladly paid, but I doubt we...
Read moreWell I wanted to place an order for pickup for everyone in my office since we like to support our other local Crowley businesses. However in the year 2016 there is no menu online, Facebook, Yelp, or anywhere. None of us have ever eaten here and after asking for help from the gentleman on the phone to place a $40-$50 order for pick up, I was informed about the large enchilada meal that they have. After asking about anything else, tacos, nachos or pricing after I said I didn't want enchiladas he said they didn't have anything else and apparently my response of "seriously? Nothing else" he rudely answered no so I just gave a drawn out and confused "okkkk???" And I was hung up on. I wasted enough time just trying to get through after having to call 5 times. My suggestion is for ANY EMPLOYEE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE MENU AND PUT IT ON HERE... Outside of that I recommend Isabella's next to Kroger on 731 and 1187! They appreciate our business and have a menu online!!! By the way I've never given a 1 star rating to anything in my...
