Waited 40 minutes for an online order while people that came into the store got theirs in 5. After the wait we were rewarded with.. Rock hard bread and bare minimum toppings, enough to qualify as a sandwich I guess.. Picture of me pressing on the bottom with my nail, and how much the sandwich is compressing but the bun is stiff as a board.
Edit: I wanted to come back and update the review to add a star after receiving a response from the Area Manager, I was not expecting credit back but I'll use it to give the location another shot. I won't be able to speak for whether the online ordering queueing improved though.
Final edit: Jimmy John's kept their word. Even though the credit was not there when I came to the location, they called their area manager who approved the credit with a quick show of the email from him. We ordered online for delivery to our place of work and selected the option “no tip” intending to tip the delivery worker with cash. We all work in the service industry so we understand how cash tips are more preferred! Whoever brought the food in and immediately dashed out angrily and scribbled all over our receipt trying to emphasize that we didn’t leave a tip while they didn’t even give us time to come up and give it to them. Mind you we had the $15 tip in our hands!! We called the manager to let them know about their rude staff and they hung up on us!!! Talk about horrible customer service!!!! There is no other way to contact anyone with Jimmy John’s. I understand it’s a franchise, there should still be SOME way to contact SOMEONE. This franchise has steadily gone down hill over the years and with all the options out there, freaky fast is about the only thing that separates them.
