UPDATE: 1 Star! I'd give 0 if I could! I will no longer come here. I had a long day at work, picked up my daughter some place close and decided to eat dinner at this location with the family. Walked in, and got seated. I understand that there could be some short staffing situations going around. This place wasn't busy and we never got acknowledged. Not once. Had waitresses walk by and not once were we greeted. Not once did we get a drink order. Not once did we get a food order. We waited about 15-20 minutes and not once did ANYBODY acknowledge us or our presence despite waitresses looking at our direction. There was a small family that came in about 15 minutes after us and they got seated and got acknowledged and help right away. So why was my family and I skipped over?! I will no longer support this location. My family and I went back to the Algonquin location and happily got served right away. Service was so great I gave the gentleman a 75% tip. Will gladly do it again with the same service! Just not Crystal Lake. Will also file a complaint to corporate. May E they can help them with their problem.
I originally gave this location 5 stars. I now have updated it from 5 stars to 2 stars. The Algonquin, IL location likes to skimp out on seasoning. Especially the Buffalo rub seasoning. When my wife and I would go to this location, we never had a problem. That is, until the last time we went. We ordered through the mobile app. Ordered everything we wanted for the both of us as well as for the both of our daughters. I drove the 40 minutes to get there (since we opted to go here instead of Algonquin because of better flavor). I picked up the food and drove back home. Just like Algonquin, this place now skimps out on seasoning. They also forgot to include my daughter's chicken tenders. That in itself is a big deal since that is what she wanted and she has TANTRUMS if she doesn't get her way. Greatly disappointed and wasn't about to turn back out of my way. Hopefully the franchise can pick up...
Read moreWent in for a take out order for 20 wings on 4/25. Once I ordered and paid I was told it would be 30 minutes. People coming in for phone orders were told 30 minutes and they arrived to pick up only to be told it would be another 40+ minutes. An hour later a customer asked for the manager and tryed to get a refund as he needed to get home with food for his family. She said it would not be much longer and would not do the refund. No apologies but excuses like this situation was all of our faults. "Can't you see we are really busy?" I would have offered a soda and an apology for the wait. One person arrived when I did and he asked about his pickup order after waiting 30 minutes and they told him his order was ready but it would take some time to package it up. WHAT? So the food is sitting around getting cold? I won't even mention what the grub hub driver had to go through. There were people waiting to be seated. The hostess did not take names and did not seat anyone. She eventuality got frustrated because she was dealing with the customers waiting for orders so she disappeared. Another employee came over to hostess and sat the 3 waiting parties immediately. 45 minutes after making my order I asked how much longer and that I too needed to leave soon and might want a refund. Hostess left and 10 minutes later my order was ready. lNot a well run restaurant. Manager had no skills on dealing with customers so in turn her employees did not either. I do understand places get busy but an apology with an explaination goes a long way. Yesterdsy was the NFL draft amd I think they were caught off guard by the number of...
Read moreAfter going to Buffalo wilds wings tonight to enjoy the rest of the bears fame after I got off work, I know why I never go there. I initially sat at the bar and instead of being greeted a man (jim) stood in front of me and didn't say anything. I forgot my ID so I ordered a water to wait for a friend of mine. when my friend did get there he and I chose a table in the bar and we sat looking at the food menu. them we looked up and there was a man in front of us again not saying anything to which my fiance said "uh. what's up" and again instead of a greeting he said what do you want. very rude. then my fiance asked if there were any drink specials and instead of saying hang on a sec he turned around and walked away. when he returned he had a menu that said 3 4 5 dollar drafts? and said other than tht no specials (which I'm sure he could have actually said). he asked for my fiances ID and when he got it he noticed it Is expired bcuz covid dmv closures we haven't been able to get a new 1 so he took it to the manager who of course said it was fine. I am just appalled at the over all lack of tableside manner. never once did he introduce himself and who kus walks up and stands at the end of a table. overall qorst experience and I am in the restaurant industry. I could may w understand if they were rly busy but they weren't. he and 2 other staff members were eating at another table in the bar. all in all I rarely go to bdubs and now I know why and will 100 percent not b back. i guess we rly r jus hiring absolutely...
