Mia's La Michoacana — Restaurant in Crystal Lake

Overall experience was great. I took my wife and daughter here because my wife and I wanted an elote and my daughter an ice cream. My daughter has never been to a Michoacana before and since this location shares the same name as my daughter, we chose here. The single staff member who was working was great. The service was wonderful. The only couple things that stood out was that a few televisions were off, so I couldn't see what was on the menu (if they even have one). I didn't know any prices besides what was written on the cups for the ice cream. The other thing was that it was a little bit pricey.

Will it stop me from coming here again, not at all. I do plan on coming back. To me, good service is everything and especially with first impressions. It wasn't 100% but it wasn't bad. My family and I came, got what we wanted, was served by a friendly staff member and we ate outside in the beautiful weather. Looking forward to...

Actively ignored me while they served several customers behind me that walked in after while I patiently waited in line. I just left without ordering anything. Slowest service I have ever seen as well, so while actively ignored while they make eye contact with the person 2 feet to your left, they take their order 1 item at a time to prolong their ordering process. No diligence, no respect for customer time or interaction. Will never spend a single dollar at this...

This is my favorite La Michoacana. Everything we’ve had here is so good. Everything is so fresh and the restaurant is so clean. The staff is always kind and will let you try pretty much anything. Our favorites are the yogurt, elote, icecream, and the horchata. The horchata is unlike any place I’ve ever had it, it’s thick, not watered down. We’ve always loved anything...
