I've passed by La Casa Di Norma many times but couldn't really tell what was there from the outside. Quite honestly, it's hard to tell it's even open because the sign doesn't light up. What a pleasant surprise when I pushed on the door and it opened, and it was like walking into another world. The place is small, but it is very nicely done with tablecloths and lovely music at just the right volume. There appeared to be only one person working and I made the third table. I was expecting slow service but my server did a good job of taking care of everyone. I started with an Italian beer. I ordered a special off the daily menu and asked for meatballs. I also asked for more sauce which I got with no problem. The food was very good. Way too much so I had a box to take home at the end. With all the things I had added, I had no idea what the bill would come to. Surprisingly, it was quite reasonable. Now I am extremely curious about the other options on the menu. I definitely need to go back and try them. While we were there, the electricity went off. It came back on fairly quickly, but I don't envy the owner of this restaurant with things like this happening while she is trying to make a good impression. My experience was very good. Everything - the food, the service, and the atmosphere were wonderful. I will definitely go back and try this restaurant out again.

I’m typing this review while I’m sitting here - this place is amazing. The service is amazing, atmosphere is amazing and the food is top notch. My hubby was a little nervous coming from a state where Italian food is well done (Rhode Island) and was completely blown away. I ordered the black fettuccine with pear and Gorgonzola and OHMYGOD. I’ve never tasted anything to wonderful to my taste buds before. My husband got the spinach fettuccine with panchetta - which was also amazing (although he wanted to mostly eat mine bc of how delicious it was). Our server Tomas was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave us all his recommendations. We’re currently waiting on our Tiramisu (because whats dinner without dessert) and I can tell I will not be disappointed. Fun fact - it actually just came and HOLY DELISH. Anyway - we will 100% be back here. Found the best Italian food in citrus county! YUM.

For those seeking a bit more elevated Italian fare in Citrus county, this is your place. Located in a strip center adjacent to Boil Yard, it’s easy to miss. But once you visit, you will be back. It’s a small, charming restaurant complete with white table cloths and soft jazz music playing. We ordered the lasagna and Pappardelle Tri Funghi. Both were delicious and the portions are very large. My bf said the lasagna could feed four people, and he’s a big guy. We also ordered salads which, upon request, can be made into a dinner salad. This wasn’t clear on the menu, so be sure to ask, as the regular portions are very large. We also really enjoyed the abundant fresh tomatoes on the salad, which seems to be an anomaly these days. I didn’t see anyone walk out empty handed, so be prepared to take home leftovers. We look forward to visiting again soon and trying their other specialties.

Husband and I wanted Italian food and had heard about this restaurant, so we gave it a try and boy am I glad we did!! A small quaint place tucked away in a shopping mall next to Claw Daddy’s restaurant. We went on a Thursday at 7:30PM and had missed the busy time and we chose a booth which line one side of the restaurant. Cheerfully greeted by this very sweet and cheerful lady, AKA as Norma, who along with her husband who is the cook are the owners of Casa del Norma!! She was so helpful with all our questions about the numerous dishes on the menu. Good variety, something for everyone. Got our beverages and a basket of warm baked bread. Hub had a salad, I chose Pasta Faziole soup, both were very good. For dinner I ordered Chicken Parmesan and it was just the way I prefer, the chicken pounded out thin, thin layer of bread crumbs sauté til golden brown, sauce was light and tasty, not that thick wall paper paste consistency. Topped with delicious mozzarella cheese, it was one of the best I have eaten, Hub had house dish Chicken Moschello which thoroughly enjoyed. We both chose side of pasta. For dessert we split a piece of Lemoncello Mascapone layered cake, awesome!! Service was good, prices reasonable and Norma and husband bend over backwards to please their customers. We waited a short time for our meals to be served, but it was so worth it. A great meal that we really enjoyed! Highly recommend this hidden gem of a place. No valet parking, no snooty waiters wearing tuxedoes, just a relaxed and homey atmosphere under the watchful eye of sweet Norma and her...

Valentines Day was the 2nd attempt at this place. Went for New Years Eve dinner and they were out of almost everything. The answer we got was they were closing for a week and didnt stock up on most items. People, this is New Years Eve!

After trying to call 2 or 3 times, leaving a message each time, to make reservations for Valentines Day with no respponse, my wife finally went throgh Facebook and someone respnded that our reservation was confirmed.

when we arrived, yep, you got it, they didnt have our reservation. After showing them the response from over a month ago, they agreed to seat us when a table opened up. Taht took about 30 minutes. We were waited on by a very young, inexperienced girl who I assume is they owners daughter. She was clearly in over her head. 30 minutes to receive drinks, an hour to receive bread.

They were once again out of Sea Bass. the seafood pasta was littered with shells and completely inedible. When dinner arrived, i asked where my side of meatballs were. The young girl said we dont sell them. After showing her they do sell them she went on to tell me they were out of them. An Italian restaurant out of meatballs. The table next to us had them and they were seated after us.

I just dont know what to say. I really want to like this place. The food is good for this area. But every time i try to like you, you slap me in the face.... Save your time and money.... grab a pizza somewhere and enjoy...

So disappointed. This was our second trip to this restaurant, first trip was amazing with homemade pasta and the sauces were so delicious. Move on to the second trip and we won't be back. Pasta is no longer homemade though the sauces are good service was horrible! Took almost 45 minutes to get someone to take our order then everything came out so slowly and in stages. We asked for parmesan and was surprised it was not freshly grated but out of a jar, that took almost halfway through the meal to even receive. The wine list is absolutely pitiful for an Italian restaurant. We then ordered espresso and a cannoli for dessert they brought the espresso and a half an hour later the cannoli which was not a cannoli and we now had no espresso left and didn't dare order another one because it would take far too long to ever get. Anyway back to the cannoli which was a puff pastry with a cream filling - huh??? Overall just a bad experience and with so many good restaurants we won't be back.

Thank you for trying to explain the unbelievable delay in receiving all food but the place was busy and those around us (some with the same dishes) did not experience the same service. I do wish you had reread my review prior to commenting, you may have explained or realized other deficiencies. As for the cannoli, I have had them all over the world and this is not a cannoli. Quite honestly it...
