Discover Crystal River - Visitors Center — Attraction in Crystal River

Swimming with manatees was on my bucket list and I did it, thanks to the guidance and collaboration of Discover Crystal River - Visitors Center we contacted them and they kindly helped us to select the perfect place to stay, with whom to do the experience of swimming with manatees in a safe and responsible way, and of course where to eat well in the city.

This welcome center is a great place to learn of the many things to do in Crystal River. They also have a few exhibits, including a manatee skeleton. This is where we purchased tickets to go onto the Three Sisters Springs Boardwalk ($15 a person cash or credit card). We were also able to ride a free trolley from this location to the springs. The staff member who was working there was friendly and very passionate and knowledgable about the springs and wildlife...

The visitor center provides valuable tourism information for all of Citrus County and its natural beauty and historical sites, not just for Crystal River. Homosassa, Inverness, and Floral City are wonderful tourist destinations as well, and the Center has information on it all.
