I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent experience at your Pollo Loco location. On June 4, 2025, at approximately 3:44 PM, I used the drive-thru. I initially attempted to order a 2-piece chicken combo but was informed that there would be a 15-minute wait for the chicken to be ready. When I inquired about the wait time for a salad and a Pollo Bowl, I was told that those items could be prepared immediately. As a result, I ordered a salad for myself and a Pollo Bowl for my toddler. The employee who processed my payment did not provide me with a receipt. Upon arriving home and beginning to eat, I discovered that the chicken in my salad was raw. My three-year-old daughter had already consumed most of the chicken from the Pollo Bowl, which I was unable to inspect before she ate it. However, the condition of the chicken in my salad was clearly undercooked. I contacted the Pollo Loco location to inform them of this issue. The employee I spoke with offered a full refund and a complimentary replacement order, which I accepted. I also requested a copy of my receipt for both transactions, in case my daughter or I become ill and legal action is necessary. After receiving the replacement order and returning home, I found that the lids for the plates had a foul odor, as if they had been handled with the same gloves used to touch the raw chicken. Read moreI am disabled and I am really grateful for the way they treated me with respect and helped me with the door. They had to hold it open for me to enter and exit. They were patient with me and the cashier told me that to just let him know when I was ready. He helped me with the salsas, choices and gave me more salsa when I requested more 😋. I also was happy for their safety and courtesy. There was a stalled car coming out from the drive thru, one or two young men went quickly to help push it out, then one more went out to help, and another. Before I knew it there were 4 men in total ❤. This touched my heart to see that there were still some good people in the world. Awesome 👌!!! I was comfortable with this Pollo Loco and I would visit again if I'm ever hungry and in the neighborhood. They ended up giving me 8 pieces of a whole chicken instead because they told me they had no more whole chickens. Oh but when another customer came right after asking for a whole chicken order, they gladly gave it to her without telling her what they told me. When I confronted the Manager (Laura) asking why she gave HER the whole chicken and not me she made lots of pointless excuses. Sadly, its about business more than the customers right and satisfaction now a days... the manager should have done the right thing in given me my correct order than just caring for herself and doing what was more beneficial for her.
