This place used to be a go-to for my family. The food, service, and atmosphere were consistently great. We especially appreciated the older pair who seemed to manage or regularly work there â they were always attentive and professional. Unfortunately, ever since they stopped working there, things have gone downhill.
Weâve continued coming back, hoping the decline in service was just temporary, but itâs become clear that things have changed for the worse. The newer, younger staff donât seem to have the same level of care or attention to detail. Dine-in experiences have become frustrating, and even takeout hasn't been consistent.
Today was the last straw. I called to place a phone order and asked if it would be okay to pick it up at 9:04 PM, since Google says they close at 9. The person on the phone said they actually close at 8:45 and couldnât accommodate the order. I understand if thatâs their policy, but when I mentioned the hours listed online, he casually said, âOh, we just havenât gotten around to updating Google.â That lack of professionalism was disappointing.
Weâve always spent over $100 each visit for our family of four and never minded because the quality and service justified it. But now, some menu items are no longer available (yet still appear on the printed menu), and others have changed without any notice. They charge for things they didn't charge before and again without notice.
I really hope management takes these concerns seriously. This place was special â but unless things turn around, I donât see us...
Read moreThis is a new location in my local neighborhood. I can only describe it as a high quality pizzaria located in an interesting location. We ordered take out as this was our first time trying this pizza. First, the smell of the newly cooked pizza was overwhelmingly delicious. The pizza itself is of very high quality, especially the salami. The pie also has an intense savory flavor, making the flavor enough to enjoy. We have only tried pizza, but they also have a good list of other menu items, including pasta, salads, and desserts. The food is pricey, however, it is worth the price as the food is very flavorful and high quality.
Note to local Cudahy/Bell Gardens citizens: When entering the business, there were no customers in sight but 3 employees. It should be noted that this location is a small business, one with a very promising future. If you live near the Cudahy/Bell neighborhood, I highly recommend that you try...
Read moreOne of the best local spots around!
I came with family and ordered 20 pc wings w/ fries, a small supreme pizza, and a burger, with cucumber lemonades for drinks and a tiramisu for dessert. Everything was great, and in this case, the wings were the star of the show! The wings are big and packed with flavor while the fries were thin, crispy, and well seasoned. The drinks were also a great palette cleanser for the alternating between each flavor.
The atmosphere is also very nice. Is a little small, but they played 80s music in the background while playing different sports games in the TVs above. The tables and seating are well designed, and I love the little oil lamp candles they have in each table (in Picture 1).
Overall, it is a phenomenal place and definitely coming here...
