Taqueria Y Chimichangas Ashley's - Cudahy — Restaurant in Cudahy

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant hungry! We ordered 3 entrees 2 drinks and a dessert! First up was the chimichangas. We got the steak and pork. The steak was perfectly charred and had incredible flavor. The pork was even more insane, it was stuffed and seasoned to the max. We had two huge bottles of red and green sauce. Both were delicious but the green was my favorite. We got the green enchiladas with the pork and they were the best enchiladas we’ve eaten in Wisconsin. They give a pretty large portion too! The birria tacos were stuffed full and also incredible. We will definitely be getting all three entrees again since they were so good. The horchata was THICK. Order a large. Do not get mediums like we did. The tres leches cake was wet and creamy. It was so filling we ended up splitting it. Literally the nicest staff and super clean! You can tell they really take care of the place. 10/10 will be coming...

Sit-down restaurant prices, food truck atmosphere.

Five simple tables, no decoration, looks exactly like a vacant Arby's. Order at the counter, wait for your name to be called. Food is in styrofoam with plastic utensils. Bottled water and 12 oz canned soda ($2.00 each).

Food was good but we spent $40 for two. For that amount of money, there are dozens of great Mexican restaurants in the area. Real dining establishments that would have provided free chips and salsa, actual plates and forks, drink refills, and most importantly, a warm and cozy place to enjoy your meal.

Ashley's other location on 92nd is a great example of a good Mexican restaurant, one of my favorites. We won't return to the Cudahy location. Either lower the prices or turn it into an actual restaurant instead of just an indoor space to eat your food...

Had to give it try, as I live near by and have been waiting a while for them to open, and I wasn't disappointed. We went as a group of three, around 3 pm on a Wednesday, and got our order probably within 10 minutes, which wasnt bad at all. My son had the birria tacos, which he absolutely loved and said he's getting those once per week at least, and he's not easily impressed. I had the steak Burrito Loco dinner, which is basically a wet burrito, smothered in the green and red sauce, and it was great!! Got a couple taco dinners to go for my daughter and her friend, and they both had no complaints, which is saying a LOT. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place. Definitely will be...
