My recent experience at Marco's Pizza left me with mixed impressions. While the cheese pizza had its merits, the meat lover pizza fell short. The pizzas were overall too greasy and had a floppy texture, but the crust stood out as a delicious highlight. The friendly staff and clean environment added to the positive aspects, although the place lacked any distinctiveness.
Let's start with the positives: The cheese pizza at Marco's Pizza earned a moderate rating of 5.3. While it had some redeeming qualities, such as a satisfactory taste, it didn't exceed expectations. The meat lover pizza, on the other hand, fell slightly behind at a rating of 5.2. Both pizzas suffered from being overly greasy and had a floppy consistency, diminishing the overall enjoyment.
One aspect that stood out positively was the delicious crust. It offered a satisfying crunch and added a flavorful element to the pizzas. However, this highlight couldn't compensate for the greasiness and lackluster texture of the toppings.
The friendly nature of the staff and the clean environment contributed to a pleasant dining experience, but the overall ambiance lacked any distinctiveness or memorable features.
In summary, while Marco's Pizza showcased a delicious crust and maintained a friendly and clean environment, the excessive greasiness and floppy texture of the pizzas, particularly the meat lover variant, detracted from...
Read moreOh, where to start with this rant. Well, first of all, after we placed an order for one medium pizza and cinnasquares, we were informed that the wait would take about 15 minutes, which is understandable for a place that always takes online orders. We parked in front of the building to wait for our food, and the first thing I notice is that none of the workers were wearing gloves. When I looked in the building, there was a worker who was dressed improperly, with short shorts and furry boots and a beanie instead of a hat. Next, I looked in the back of the building and saw a man eating something that seems to be either food or gum, which is unsanitary either way and should not be an action performed at a place that should be sanitary for customers to have a safe experience. I also noticed that many employees were goofing around and doing nothing. After 15 minutes and we still have not received our food, another person parked beside us to wait for their order. Ten minutes later, they got their food, which was two pizzas and cinnasquares, yet we still do not have our food. After 45 minutes of waiting, one of the employees noticed us and brought our food out to us and apologized to us. I told him thank you and mentioned to him that they should start wearing gloves. He said thank you in a pitiful voice and left. I don't even have to comment on the food to express how PO'd I am for...
Read moreThe food is great but the service is so atrocious that I genuinely can't keep coming here. Each time without fail, regardless of how much time I order in advance and pay ahead of time I have to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru or waiting in the lobby with radio static while the entire staff curse and scream in the back. No hello, no "be with you in a moment" - nothing. Totally ignored. I try to ask for someone after waiting about 5 minutes in the lobby, they make eye contact and turn away. Like... hello? Walking in here feels like entering the Twilight Zone. There's about 20 people in the back literally just standing around talking and maybe 2 people actually working. I once had to flag someone down (my pizza was RIGHT there in the window) and they said "uh I don't know just wait we're still making it" only for another person to come up 5 minutes later and hand me my cold pizza that was in fact just sitting there. She also slammed the window rudely and didn't say a word. The staff here has ruined this place and management needs to step in at this point. It's ridiculous. There's nothing special here that I can't get elsewhere with...
