Don’t be afraid to try something new. We absolutely loved our experience here. The ambience is just plain fun and sunny. The food choices are amazing. I recommend trying different menu items so that you can share and taste different options. We have tried the corn dip, which is a must. We also had steak tacos, steak quesadilla, birria quesadillas and birria tacos. Fantastic. The bowl options are limited only to your personal taste. Pick a protein, rice, then add vegetables and fruit you want to try. Delicious. The proteins are a good size and we did not leave hungry. Hand crafted margaritas are what they will be known for, but there is always beer if that is not your drink. I’ve tried the light and fresh Paloma which is such a refreshing take on the original margarita. The Spicy margarita is just what it says, original margarita with a kick of jalapeños, tahin and salt to give it that little 🔥but not overpower it. And you can’t go wrong with the House traditional lime margarita. Desserts are not what I usually think of at a Mexican restaurant, but don’t sleep on these. The Mexican brownie provides a unique twist to the traditional brownie with a layer of chocolate, strawberries and then a fiery caramel sauce. Looking for something not so rich? Try the sugared churros with the spicy caramel dipping sauce. Completely addictive. And an outdoor patio space only adds to the great vibes it gives. Great food, great drinks and great people only lends itself to a great experience.. Well done.

First, thank you to the owners who have taken the time and energy to create an awesome space in the beautiful Historical Cullman Warehouse District! The attention to detail everywhere you look is amazing! I really want to tell you this place is bad so I can keep it to myself for a few weeks but I would be lying! When you walk in, the decor is inviting and lively. Take your picture in front of the flower wall and make sure you share to your social media and tag #tacomarg. From here, You can do one of two things, order at the desk and then grab a table, have a seat, and your food is delivered to your table or……..if you like to belly up to the bar, you can sit down and order your drinks AND food from your seat! My guess after visiting tonight is you will take whatever is available when you get there! 😉. We had chips and salsa, cornbread appetizer (or dessert, you decide😜), Birria Burrito, and dessert (the brownie is to die for! )! If you are trying to be healthy, try one of the Healthy bowls you can personalize to your taste! Choice of four meats, rice, lettuce, dressing, and a multitude of toppings! Oh my, it is divine! The sentimental part is the honor wall where they allow guests to bring pics of family members who have passed away and around 7 each evening will have a toast in memory of loved ones….. 🥰 I’ve lived in Cullman my whole life and have never been more proud to be a part of this community. Stay tuned to their social media for opening day! It will be soon!!

WOW!!!! This place is amazing!! You can just feel the fun atmosphere as you walk in the door. We were greeted by smiles, friendly faces, and we even got a hug or two! The food was so tasty and so good!! We tried so many different things(sorry, we forgot to take pics of everything). The chicken quesadilla was my favorite, it was so different with the mangos and sauce. I was a little skeptical at first(only because I am so picky), but man, it was delicious! I am so glad that I ordered it just the way it came. Everything went so well together. My husband tried all kinds of different tacos. His favorite was the fish tacos. He has had fish tacos at many different places and said that these were the best he had ever had! The freshly squeezed juice for the margaritas made them so much tastier, they were delicious! We were already full, but could not resist trying some desserts. The Tres Leches and the freshly made churros were fantastic! We simply could not stop eating them. We also love the wall where you can bring pictures of loved ones that have passed on. Every night around 7, there will be glasses raised, and what a cool way to honor them. We most definitely will be visiting again soon! We absolutely loved it!!

Be ready to feel energized and tantalized! Leave the boring behind, forget the drab for a moment and walk through these doors to a beautifully decorated dining room full of colors that pop and good times that don’t stop. The food looks and smells good and those fresh muddled watermelon margaritas being shaken at the bar going into the beautiful crystal salty/sugar rimmed glass will make you crave more. Dare to try one of the menu items. You could literally close your eyes and point to something on their amazing menu, and it’s going to be an amazing dish that hits the spot. The watermelon margaritas are so darn good I had to order a second and everyone in my very large party tried it and LOVED it. As if the amazing food, fun atmosphere and clean, beautiful restaurant isn’t enough, the staff is more than amazing. I’ve never met a bunch of folks who truly care about their customers and their community like this group. What a team they’ve put together! My first visit I was assisted by Bailey who helped me add my dear friends brother, who we just lost, to the honor wall. She did this with such grace and poise and spoke of what an honor it was, and it was heartfelt. She then invited me to join sometime as the entire restaurant - serves up an honorary toast, EVERY….SINGLE… NIGHT… at 7pm to honor those on the wall. Everyone is in participation, the world stops for a second and this beautiful moment takes place. After my visit, I knew I must return for this experience. I was so very touched when she called Shane , with tears in her eyes, to ask if we could make room for this collage. She hung up the phone and said he told her to make room and she went to great effort to arrange this beautifully. I returned the following Saturday after the memorial service, with a crowd in tow. People had traveled from out of state, many had driven some had flown and were gathered to grieve, and we were able to turn our tears into laughter with the Taco Marg family. It was a busy Saturday night, the food was amazing, the drinks were delectable and as busy as they were Shane stopped what he was doing to pay his respects to a lost loved one who left our entire community stricken with sadness, with my dear friend who has proudly served our community as an officer of the law for many years and ALL of his family and friends stood and said together with him in unison the most beautiful tribute, with a message we all needed to hear-to let ourselves LIVE! We honored all of those on the wall including Curt Wilson, along with Laura’s grandparents, Shane’s brother Chris who lives on in the hearts of many and will always be remembered, in fact there’s a beautiful memoriam on the building in his name. I wish I knew the names of everyone on the wall, I hope to update soon, but for now I have to note: There was so much love poured out, condolences offered and laughter shared over Tacos and Margaritas. It was a beautiful experience. You get more than good food and drinks when you visit here. You can visit any night at 7PM and experience this for yourself. If that’s not your cup of tea, go for lunch or an early dinner, sit on the beautiful patio with brightly colored chairs and enjoy a variety of soft drinks offered or have a cocktail and be sure to take advantage of the many photo opportunities they’ve specifically provided for you to create memories that last a lifetime. Unfortunately I didn’t try dessert, but today as I glanced over the take out menu they provided, I realized I must go back and try all three because they sound irresistible and I will! I understand this review is unique. I’ve been a Google Local Guide for quite some time and reaching level 8 was no easy task. I take it seriously and I found it necessary to include this personal story in my review because it explains the heart of this establishment, the heart of its owners and of our wonderful community. If you’re thinking of going, you should..-Tacos & Margaritas make everything better..-Taco Marg makes our community better. That’s the truth! Shenanigans with Shannon Google Local...

I won't be too critical just yet, when I went it was maybe their first week or 2 of being open. That being said I'm sure they'll get better and buff out some of their problems with time. To start, the main problem is this place is quite small and you order right when you walk in the door, and sit afterwards. So what do you do when the place is already full? Well, you simple stand there for 30 minutes. Not the end of the world I know but it was a little frustrating. And while I'm talking about the "bad" stuff, it's worth mentioning that really the only other thing that frustrated my fiancé and I was that her food came out about 15 minutes before mine did, so us obviously not wanting her food to get cold, she ate before me and was done before my food even got to the table, I'm sure they'll get better over time.

Now the very obvious good thing about this place is the food. I've heard people around Cullman saying this is a better taco mama. I see what they're trying to say but they're not SUPER similar. The food, loved it. Much better than taco mama in my opinion but they also have much less options than taco mama. The King Birria was phenomenal, and the dip they add with it just made it better. The build your bowl that my fiancé had was really good as well, we both left very happy with the food and her margarita was good as well. Very good queso and guacamole too.

To summarize, my fiancé and I left there very happy with the food, so much that it made us forget about the 30 to almost 45 minute wait. We both rated the food above a 9/10. Guacamole and queso, awesome. King Birria, awesome. Build your own bowl, awesome. The price for everything is a little steep but the quality shows. The service will get there with time I have no doubt, and I can't wait to go there again for a nice little...

A friend of mine and I went to TacoMarg for lunch this past week. I had been wanting to try the new restaurant and I'm so very very thankful we did! I cannot say enough about the entire experience! Let me start out with the food. Oh my gosh!!!!! I didn't realize this was real Mexican food not American mexican. As I looked at the menu I knew I was in for all things good concerning the food. Actually I knew this when I walked in the door and smelled the delicious aroma in the entire restaurant. We ordered the nachos and a fish taco to share. There was plenty to share. It was the tastiest most delicious Mexican food I've ever put in my mouth!!! Actually there was a little left over for me to take home. When I asked for the to-go box I took the time to tell a man that was standing there how incredible the food was. It happened to be Chef Duaine!!! We talked for a moment. He was such a delightful man and it was clear to me why the restaurant is doing so well. He cares about the food he is serving his customers. He cares about his customers!!! He translated to the amazing cooks what I had said about the food being absolutely delicious. I got thumbs up and smiles from the kindest faces! Duaine said he would bring my to go box to me. Indeed he brought it to me! With a few chips and some queso dip for me to try. Which I did for supper that night. Just like the food at lunch the queso dip and chips did not disappoint! I will make this a regular stopping place to fill my belly! The prices are so reasonable and the atmosphere was very happy. I like happy things and happy places. And this restaurant and the people in it made me happy! Why wouldn't I return again and again? You got to go try it peeps. You won't be...
