Well this place is a very well kept gem in Culpeper. The town recently has been a foodie spot. Piedmont steakhouse is tucked up in a old factory type of building. Very classy spot, but they still love the customer that just pops in. Which I love, better to have reservations for this type of spot if there is no tables there isn't much they can do. Come a tad early and you should have no problem come late and you will be out of luck. First time in this joint. It was my good friend and myself, we got off work covered in grease and work grit, we both said we feel like a steak. Both him and I got the tomahawk steaks 35oz each, we got drinks and more. Bill was hefty but the taste was as well. What struck me like a lighting bolt was the fact they sat us at a table, covered in grease and dirt. My respect for the establishment went thru the roof that day, classy joint like that respects the working man I'll be a customer for life. Good business decision on their part since we had a check of 250 for 2 people. We eat good food no matter the cost. So I've sent 3 clients gift cards to this place welcoming them to the fauquier culpeper area. All said they loved it. Now I go there for dates with my better half now. She loves it and I tell her the story about how 2 greasy guys got the best service in their lives. Food is amazing and is very generous, price is high but you are paying for quality. Service is amazing, got a mixed drink that was little light on the alcohol told the waiter and he fixed me another one right on the spot. Wait staff to the hostess was very pleasant. My Heart Doctor said I had to cut back on the red meat I said the hell with it, I'll buy him another boat, so in the picture is the bone in ribeye. Which comes over 20oz I can't eat that tomahawk no more but if...

I used LOVE Piedmont Steakhouse. I hadn’t been back for quite awhile and unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back. Firstly, the atmosphere is relaxing, laid back but still has a fancy feel. I really enjoy that. However, the choice of music being played put a huge damper on the ambiance. For a high end steakhouse you’d expect to hear classical/jazz with the aim of reinforcing the sensation of elegance and exquisiteness of their dishes. This did not happen. Instead, there was new country being played (quite loudly) throughout the restaurant. Reminded me of Texas Roadhouse. Also, I don’t believe they currently have a chef. I got the calamari which was HEAVILY salted and overly fried. I thought the server had brought me onion rings at first. The marinara sauce was clearly not made in house and tasted like canned Prego sauce. Very disappointing. When mentioned to our server about the heavily salted appetizer, he apologized and said he would let the kitchen know. Moving onto entrees. I got the Bison Ribeye that was cooked to perfection but still, very salty. For my choice of potato I decided on the potato lyonnaise. It was nothing more than home style cafe potatoes. They were salty (go figure), overcooked and lacked creativity. We skipped on dessert. I’m not sure if the staff is aware of this, but guests can hear A-LOT while in the bathrooms coming from the kitchen. I feel like the food/ambiance didn’t reflect the bill. I don’t mind paying whatever as long as it...

First time impression for Piedmont steakhouse was , excellent service ! Lovely atmosphere . Had a great lunch , enjoyed the fried pickles with ranch as an appetizer and then the filet mignon with mash potatoes and some green beans. The fried pickles were not overly breaded or overly seasoned , just the right amount and the ranch was a perfect companion . My filet was a tad over medium rare but flavor was great and texture as well , the mash was seasoned well , and the green beans were perfect in texture and seasoning. My mother ordered a steak and cheese sandwhich and was very pleased. She couldn't stop talking about how well seasoned her steak in her sandwhich was. Highly recommend to anyone who is visiting or is a local already and has not tried yet . Thank you Piedmont for the great experience I look forward to returning and trying more dishes .

Which comes over 20oz I can't eat that tomahawk no more but if could I would!
