Unfortunately, I'm having to edit this review because I could not figure out how to post a new review. My first experience here can be reviewed below. The reason I'm editing is because the owners have decided to change the menu and get rid of the grilled shrimp tacos. They were my favorite and what brought me back every time. Now, they have replaced the grilled shrimp with only a deep fried shrimp option. This new fried shrimp has as much breading as it does shrimp. It's hard to imagine that they would get rid of something so tasty and replace it with something so unhealthy. I try to stay away from fried foods even though I do love their tater tots. We have returned frequently and have tried other foods, and their pulled pork tacos are good as well, but it was the grilled shrimp tacos that hooked us. It's a shame that they are gone because I can get fried shrimp tacos at most any local bar. Your grilled option was unique and fresh. Now you've become the status quo. I hope you will bring back the grilled shrimp taco option. I understand if people like your fried shrimp, but you need to at least have a grilled shrimp option. I'm sure this pre breaded fried shrimp saves you on preparation and makes it easier on the kitchen, but it will cost you in business revenue.
My former post rated the food at five stars. I reduced it to three stars because they still have some good food, but if I were only rating the shrimp tacos, I would reduce it to one star.
Heather provided amazing service, and the food was wonderful. We had grilled shrimp tacos and wings. The wings were crispy, and the shrimp tacos were flavorful. We will definitely be back. Try the Ray Ray wings. They are medium heat with crispy skin (ask for crispy) and rolled in garlic and...
Read moreWe had dinner here tonight, and while the food was decent and our server Josh was absolutely excellent—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything—what we witnessed toward the end of our meal left a very negative impression.
As we were finishing up, we heard someone yelling Josh’s name from the back. The commotion was loud enough that it caught the attention of every diner around us. What we saw next was deeply upsetting: a man who appeared to be the owner or manager (I believe his name is Scott) was screaming and cursing directly in Josh’s face in the kitchen. The doors swung open during the chaos, and several staff members even sprinted out of the back, visibly shaken by the incident.
Josh, to his credit, returned to our table shaken but still professional. Despite clearly being upset, he continued to do his job with grace and courtesy. I checked in with him to make sure he was okay—he politely declined to talk about it, which made it even more obvious how uncomfortable and hurt he must have been.
This kind of behavior from management is completely unacceptable. No employee deserves to be berated in front of coworkers and customers. It was disturbing to witness, and frankly, it cast a dark shadow over what would have otherwise been a pleasant meal. We even chose to linger a bit after our meal to make sure things didn’t escalate further, which should never be something guests feel compelled to do.
I hope the management seriously reflects on how they treat their staff. Josh deserves better—and so does every employee who...
Read moreWent here today. Was extremely disappointed. We asked if we could get 2 different flavors wings (1/2 and 1/2). Were told only in increments of 10. So my friend ordered 20 wings. 1 lemon pepper and 1 honey garlic (wanted to try them out). When order was delivered He got 2 platters of wings. 1 had visible pepper and the other didn’t have much pepper, otherwise they looked the same. Tasted them and they tasted the same, but could see no real amount of pepper on the 2nd batch. Assumption was they were made in same bowl or something as they were both mediocre. Only ate maybe a total of 7 of the 20 wings! Just blah. When we got the bill found out waitress had put both orders of wings as Lemmon pepper and did not even order the honey garlic. When we complained to waitress she said sorry and walked away. We got her back And explained sorry was not sufficient as didn’t want to pay $12 for wings of the same flavor that were not even eaten and she went and told manager and he gave us 1/2 off 2nd order. We didn’t want a 2nd order of the same flavor and would have only ordered 1 order if only getting 1 flavor. He said too bad as we didn’t complain till we got the bill... very poor service and won’t go...
