Do NOT go to this store if you are needing to be fitting for a tuxedo at an out of town wedding. They apparently / claim to be part of the JFW (Jim's Formal Wear) network and I was told I could go to this store (Flirt Prom & Pagent) to be fitted for a tuxedo for a wedding in Ohio. The initial greeting was warm and welcoming (thus the 2 stars) but once they found out I was just needing to be measured for a tux and have a form filled out they quickly told me they "only do measurements for people who are getting their wear through us" (quote). I was told to find a seamstress or someone else and pay them $5 to take the measurements. It was very clear they did not want to be bothered by me while they were serving one other customer in the store. I wouldn't send my daughter to get her prom dresses here simply because of the way I was dismissed. They were not "rude" - but they also were not helpful and were quite dismissive. Not impressed. I appreciated the owner's thoughful response and understand where he is coming at from a business owner; however, he did not give me specific recommendations (like: "go to this person who is just this far away, let me give you her address / number to call her"), he gave me generalized recommendations (even if a specific name was mentioned) and left it up to me to figure out. Instead, I went to my car, googled other nearby places associated with Jim's Formal Wear, called the next closest one, and they invited me to come even though I would arrive 15 minutes before they closed. I arrived 15 minutes before they closed, and despite having two other customers, did a complete tux fitting for me using the JFW guidebook, even called the groom in Ohio to clarify the exact nature of the fitting they were wanting, and remained with me until 30 minutes after their closing time. And they did all this for FREE. As I stated earlier in the review, the owner of Flirt Prom and Pageant was not rude, and I understand he would have had to call in another worker to assist me, but he was also very clear I would not be assisted, and I quote, "since I was not renting through them" despite being part of the JFW network. Thus, while truly respecting the owner's response, I stand my my initial review and leave it as is as people need to know and only a 2 star review will bring this to attention: if you are going to to wedding out of area and need measurements for a JFW tuxedo, this is NOT the place to go. You can find my 5 star review on another nearby store to know where to go if this is this the need you...
Read moreFor the third consecutive year, my daughter and I had the pleasure of shopping for her prom dress at Flirt. Each visit has been better than the last, but this year was particularly memorable thanks to our stylist, Ashlee.
Ashlee was nothing short of phenomenal. Her expertise and passion for fashion were evident from the moment we walked in. She took the time to understand my daughter's style, preferences, and even her personality, ensuring the dress we chose was not just beautiful but a true reflection of her. Her patience was remarkable; we spent an hour trying on different styles, and she never once rushed us, always offering encouraging words and insightful suggestions.
The selection at Flirt Prom and Pageant is vast and impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes from classic to contemporary, with options for prom, homecoming, custom, and couture gowns. However, it's the personalized service that truly sets this store apart. Ashlee made the experience enjoyable and stress-free, turning what could have been a daunting task into a delightful mother-daughter outing.
We left with not just a dress but memories of laughter, shared excitement, and the confidence that my daughter would shine at her prom. The quality of the gowns is top-notch, and Ashlee's styling advice ensured we found the perfect fit and look.
I highly recommend Flirt Prom and Pageant to anyone looking for a special dress for their young one, especially if you can have Ashlee as your stylist. Her dedication to making each customer feel special and her knack for finding the ideal dress make all...
Read moreI went here looking for a prom dress over the weekend and I had called the day before asking if I would need an appointment. I was told no it was just walk in. I then drove an hour there and they told me it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait. No one told me I would have to be in the store and they also took my phone number so I assumed they would text you when it was your turn. I went not even five minutes down the road to get Starbucks and came back less then 30/45 minutes and they said they called our name and took us off the list so we left and I tried again the next day. When I came back the next day I didn’t have to wait long at all so I was excited. but as I was looking at the dresses the girl that was assigned to me told me I only had 30 minutes to look and would need to look faster. Then as I was trying on dresses I feel very rushed to make a decision right there. I did end up buying a dress but was not with my parents when I did that. I then came back in 5 minutes later and asked if I was allowed to return it because my mom wanted me to keep looking being I spent almost $600 on a dress and they told me to talk to someone else who then told me no and that I could go back and ask the person who just sent me to her. It was a nice store but the customer service and my experience was awful. On top of that the clasp on my dress broke...
