The food is fine, the service was insane. The drive thru was broken for technical difficulties so I went inside to order. When I walked in there were two pretty obviously disgruntled employees. They were still nice and said hello and said they would be with me in a moment. They then were asking each other who would be taking my order and one of them agreed to but then walked away to clock out. She came back and asked what I wanted and I repeated it 3 times because she kept getting distracted by a woman who was talking to her from behind the wall. I finally got my order through when the voice behind the wall came to the counter. It was the manager and she told the worker that she needed to speak with her in the back before she leaves. The employee said “I’m off the clock like you told me to be. Are you going to yell at me?” And the manager answered “no I’m not going to yell.” And the employee mumbled “yet” and the manager said, “I’m done yelling for the day” with a smile on her face while I’m just trying to pay and leave. I had to tell the manager that it was grossly inappropriate how she was speaking to her employees and that she shouldn’t be yelling or talking about this in front of customers. I have never seen a manager speak to employees like that and it was absolutely disgusting. I cannot believe the woman at the register was working off the clock and that the manager openly laughed about yelling at her staff. I understand service jobs and tough days but I’m surprised her employees didn’t walk out. I hope the ladies at the counter are okay tonight and that someone speaks to the manager on proper ways to communicate without yelling or making it a show in front...
Read moreThis is the worst Panera Bread I’ve ever been to. After having driven through the drive thru multiple times, I’ve really given up on it as something is always wrong. Today really took the cake. I went in with my family to eat inside. After placing my order at 1:06, we sat and waited...and waited...and waited... I watched multiple families have time to find a seat, get their meal, and leave before we ever received anything. One of the runners delivered one meal and then took the tracking number, which resulted in the other two meals going to the wrong table. Yet no one came and said anything, came and asked if we were waiting, etc. My husband finally went up, after 40 minutes of waiting, and asked about our meal, to which someone said “Oh, I’m building it right now.” Ten minutes passed — still no meal. My husband went up again, and the employees said “Oh, we delivered it to the wrong table, here you go.” When we got it, it was very evident that someone had eaten out of the bowl of soup, picked off the baguette, and the silverware was dirty. The other meal was luke warm at best. The manager, at first, offered us a “voucher.” To which we replied, no...we just need our money back... yet we still had to pay for the drinks. Read moreHave had problems with multiple orders here and poor customer service, mainly using the drive-through. Accuracy matters, their receipt says, and they will make it right. That is, if you can get them to answer. I tried calling a manager tonight when I got home, and after about 15 rings, it went to a voice mail, asking me a leave a message, then abruptly telling me the mailbox is full. Likely with those who have issues with their orders.
The salad was great as always, but I do not appreciate unwrapped fork and knife being in my salad container. For sanitary reasons, I expect a wrapped set of utensils, for God knows who has touched these or coughed on them. Since I can't call the restaurant, I likely will investigate with the health department what should happen with utensils in a drive through.
Think twice about this store...........inside I have rarely had issues. The staff is young, and many do not seem to be well trained in customer service matters.
Really wish they would get their act together, because the quality of their food is awesome. I just don't appreciate the potential results of unwrapped utensils...........especially given out by young staff with seemingly...
