Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Cupertino

This location is the absolute WORST! This review is for ALL employees , EVERYTIME I’ve gone to this location everyone working has the same attitude. Work extremely slow to antart off with ! Looks like they anre only focused on online orders . They don’t greet you when you walk up to order. if they don’t want to be there, QUIT!! They really show they don’t want to be at work. If you don’t like the job , go elsewhere. They treat their customers very poorly. Very small portions ! They skimp on the portions and When you ask for a little bit more , they give attitude and still skimp as if it’s coming out of their pockets . We are paying customers! Always low on their food and never have their salad dressing and veggies when I go. I only went to this location because it was down the street from me , I will drive the extra miles to go to a more pleasant chipotle next time That’s for sure ! This review was way over due, today’s experience really pushed it over board and I took the time to write a review ! I really hope the higher up get to this review and really makes changes to this location with the people they have working , representing their company ! Chipotle is famed as one of the best fast-food chains, but my hot take is that it wasn’t that great. This Chipotle locations interior was nice it was spacious and there was outdoor seating. The tables were all clean which I always appreciate:)

The servers were very stingy with meat portions which aggravated me, but the servers were also very kind and accommodating(giving compliments,etc.)

The food itself was very mid however. The barbacoa was tender, but it was insanely oily and the portions were disappointing. The flavor of the meat was overpowered by the oil which I hate and this oil makes you not feel good later on:(. The corn salsa I asked to come with my meal was also mid because while they gave me a lot of salsa the actual corn kernels weren’t sweet at all and had little to no flavor. My overall dish was very lackluster and not what I had heard about Chipotle.

OVERALL the price was affordable and the food came out very fast so I would still come to Chipotle in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it to others if given an option. I would rather go to my local Mexican restaraunt and get some BOMB...

Never use the app when ordering from this place. Once the meat prep cook was done, the one that was supposed to finish the order decided to clean and collect trays from different parts of the kitchen while the burrito was open and exposed for a good 7-10 minutes. As I was sitting there waiting, regular customers had their food made and took off well after I was there. I ordered my food 20 minutes before. The prep cook had to finally take over as I mentioned that the food was getting cold. Even the computer labeled my order as LATE on their screen. What irritates me the most is how I was waiting for a long while and nobody acknowledged my presence while other customers have long since left. I’m literally waiting for the burrito to get wrapped up so I can get going. What is the purpose of ordering ahead when all you do is wait while others get their order from the counter. I honestly can say that nobody that works there really has an interest in customer awareness. A simple acknowledgment is a start.
