Sorry to say this, but we were totally disappointed with our service tonight. You guys used to be one of my favorite places to come and enjoy music, food, and spirits. However, lately, the service and food has gone downhill. Tonight we had reserved a lane for duck pin bowling for my kids and us to play and eat and have fun. When we arrived it wasn't too busy but I did note 4 girls at the front desk hanging out. We got to our lane right away. My kids started bowling and I waited to see about ordering drinks and food. I sat there a good 10 mins and not one server came. I know that several servers were walking around, but no one stopped around our area to see if we were interested in ordering or offer a drink. I went up to the front desk where the girls were hanging out and I asked if we were able to order food at the duck pin bowling. The one girl said yes and that she'd send a waiter over. It was at least another 5 mins before a guy came over. He got us menus but no silverware. We ordered our drinks and food. Everything came out in a timely matter. However when we got our drinks that was the last time we saw our server. As we ate our food we had no silverware, or napkins. Our drinks got depleted yet no one to refill them. I eventually walked up to the bar and grabbed some bar napkins. Just so we could be able to wipe our hands and our faces. Our food was mediocre. My husband and son ordered the bacon jam smash and Both of them said that the burger didn't even have any flavor and they tasted no bacon. My other son ordered chips and salsa. And I personally tasted the salsa and it tasted like feet. It was so gross, we ended up not eating it. We wanted to box my one son's food. But yet again, nobody came around, so we just sat there. My sons finished up their bowling. Cause we only had an hour and we knew we needed to get off the table. But we had nobody around to give us our check or boxes. I looked around and still there were waitresses walking around. But nobody came to acknowledge us. That wasn't until one of the hostesses rudely came over. As we were standing there, waiting and in front of everybody embarrassed us and said in a rude manner that our time was up, we needed to get off the Lane that there was another reservation. I explained to her that we had no problem leaving the area we just needed boxes and our check. Then she had the next group come over and crowd in on us as we tried to box our food. They looked at us as we were being rude. Now I get that it was a Saturday night. And you guys ended up getting busy because the band was coming in. I also understand that Places are short staff right now. However, my thought is as if you don't have enough staff. Then not all the tables should be filled. If there's not enough servers to make sure every table is taken, care of then people should not be seated at those tables. I'm sorry but just really dissapointed in our evening. Also to top it off I messaged the establishment and heard nothing back. Guess they don't care about...

I went to this restaurant for the first time today. At first I was a little concerned I wouldn’t be able to find something low carbohydrate friendly. But then I saw they had bone in and bone out chicken wings. I got the Cajun seasoning it was to die for. It was so delicious and tasted a little sweet I had to ask if there was sugar in it. Waiter went back to ask the cooks and the answer was no sugar. I also had the baked brussels sprouts with seasoning they were delicious too. They were so good I got a second order. The brussels sprouts were little salty but maybe that’s why I like them so much. They have a lot of fun fair like games here and pinball machines. Not arcade games like galaxy our Pac-Man which is what I was expecting. However I was pleasantly surprised with some basketball games and punching bag games virtual reality games etc. They have salads to as an option.

The thing I found most intriguing is they have a secret bar downstairs called the speakeasy. They have a phenomenal bartender down there that makes very fancy extremely delicious cocktails. They have a special card to be able to go down that you request at the front desk. I had the maple old-fashioned as it was recommended to me. I’ve never had bourbon before. It was really delicious. I got the smoke with it wow that was like a show when the bartender made the drink.

I highly recommend people bringing their kids to the upstairs venue during the week when it’s not so crowded. Maybe go on the weekends when they have bands without your kids. And any Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday go check out the speakeasy it opens at 4 PM on Thursday Friday Saturday. It’s very intriguing and fun. I’m not sure what the hours are on Sunday. I can’t...

The food is amazing, however it's not good enough to make up for the terrible service. We came during the week so it wasn't very busy, the host asked if we wanted to sit at the bar or a table, we said "whatever you have that's open". The host walked us past the bar that only had 1 person sitting there, past multiple other tables that were all vacant, taking us all the way up to the stage. They sat us in a section of the venue that was so far away from everything else and put us in the far back corner of the section. Multiple servers walked past us, all saying hello and being friendly but no one came over to take our orders. After 15 minutes the host of an event that was going on during the time we were there came over and asked us why we were there. We said "not sure, it's where the host sat us", that person then walked towards the front desk, we assumed maybe they weren't supposed to be seating anyone by the stage because of the event and that's why we weren't getting service. Another server walked by and we asked if we were allowed to be sitting here and if not, could we just go to the bar since it now had been 25 minutes and not a single server came over to even take our drink orders. He assured us that where we were was okay, and our server would be over asap. We waited another 10 minutes, got up to leave and as we walked out another employee came running after us demanding to know why we were leaving. We explained that we had now been at the Workz 45 minutes, talked to multiple employees to try to get service and never did that's why we were leaving. Such a shame because the food really is great, and that's why we came back, but I can't imagine we would ever return...

The Workz in Cuyahoga Falls is such a great time. They have a killer arcade with everything from pinball machines to duckpin bowling. The stage here is amazing and they have all kind of live music. The food here is really delicious as well, I love the pretzel bites with the beer cheese, and the sweet potato fries with the marshmallow fluff is super yummy. They also have a speak easy in the basement if your looking for a little more of a chill vibe.Go check out @the_workz_on_the_riverfront Download the Eat Local Ohio app today to focus on LOCAL eateries near you! https://linktr.ee/eatlocalohio_#explorecleveland #exploreohiofood #akronfood #akronfoodie #travelohio #beachwoodohio #ohiofood #ohiofoodie #clefoodies #ohiogrown #ohioproud #clefoodie #clegram #clefood #ohiolove #ohiobeer #cleeats #eatlocalohio #clevelandeats #clevelandfoodies #ohiocity #ohioeats #clevelandoh #ohioblogger #clefood #clevelandblogger #downtowncleveland #thisiscle
