Small shop with delicious desserts made in- house. The owner was very sweet & answered all of my questions. I bought the "Spooning Scone" that is described as a cake in a jar. It is not- this is an all out decadent dessert with a perfectly baked scone topped with a sweet cream custard-like on top & fresh fruit. It took all I had to NOT inhale this. So good! I also ordered three packaged Dacquoise that I was told were the cousins to macarons but 15 times better. These were definitely better than any macaron I've ever had. The cookie shell is soft but flaky & the cream is buttery, slightly sweet & melts in your mouth. I also bought my daughter a s'mores cookie & oreo brownie. She had the brownie & said it was yummy. It’s a small startup homemade dessert shop run by a young couple as sweet as their pastries. I’ve tried all from their menu; they are delicate, sweet, moist, flavorful, and just delicious. With just one bite, you can appreciate the pleasant homemade simplicity. The sweetness of the pastries does not overwhelm the flavor but compliments each bite. Baking Room is truly a hidden gem in Cypress! The bakery sits on a corner with its own parking lot, plus plenty of street parking, so visiting is stress-free. Inside, the bright and cozy interior with thoughtful décor—art, figures, flowers, and plants—feels more like a café where you’d want to stay and enjoy.

Owner Kevin greeted me warmly and kindly walked me through the menu without the slightest hint of impatience. Their signature dacquoise is something you won’t easily find elsewhere in SoCal. The scones are another highlight—large at first glance, but surprisingly moist, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. The lemon curd cream scone especially stood out with its citrusy freshness blending beautifully with the cream.

What makes this place even more special is the care and passion from owners Kevin and Minah. From sourcing French butter and premium ingredients to developing recipes and personally baking everything in small batches, their dedication shows in every bite. Soon, delivery will be available, but cakes (including their dacquoise cake) are made to order a day in advance.

Even if you have to drive a bit, this place is absolutely worth it. Cypress finally has a bakery that feels world-class yet personal—don’t miss it!

대존맛과자집 발견 다쿠아즈 & 스콘(레몬커드스콘 꼭!) 친절. 맛집. 예쁨. 깔끔 그잡채

가게는 대로변 모퉁이에 위치해있고 파킹랏이 따로 있지만 스트릿 파킹도 자리 많아 주차하는데 전혀 어려움이 없어 문을 열면 기분좋게 밝은 인테리어와 하나하나 신경쓴 예쁜 소품들이 눈에 띄어. 그림부터 인형과 오브제, 안개꽃과 식물들까지 베이커리라기보다 계속 앉아 먹고 싶은 카페 같은 공간이야. Kevin 사장님이 밝고 친절하게 인사하며 맞아주셨고, 메뉴 소개와 추천도 귀찮은 내색 하나 없이 친절하셨어 다쿠아즈는 시그니쳐 메뉴고 So Cal 지역에선 볼 수 없던 메뉴야 스콘도 겉보기엔 입안을 채울것만 같이 크고 바삭해보이지만 이렇게 촉촉하고 적당히 알맞게 달콤함을 품은 스콘은 처음이야 레몬커드크림 스콘은 레몬커드의 citrus 함이 크림의 장난스런 맛과 함께 어울려 더욱 즐거운 맛이야

사진 촬영을 허락해주신 Kevin 사장님 덕분에 구경과 촬영 대화 모두 즐거운 시간이었어 무엇보다 Kevin & 민아 사장부부님들께서 정성들여 공수한 French butter와 식재료들과 메뉴개발 그리고 품질 관리에 신경쓰신 흔적들이 하나하나 자부심까지 엿보여 더 크게 되고도 남을만한 퀄리티인데 오히려 퀄리티와 단골손님들을 신경쓰시기 위해 일일이 매장 운영 가능한 정도의 양만 "직접" 제빵 제작하신대
