I didn't get this guy's name but I want you to look at the time on the clock which is three or four minutes fast but I want to say never have I been treated so poorly. For years, I have dine at and ordered food from Applesbees and my experience has always been good. But I don't know if this hispanic guy is a racist but the way he treated and talked to us very much felt like he was and I found it unacceptable. We were treated with such disrespect and he was just not nice at all and or hospitable.
We arrived around 10pm and was told by him that they closed at 11pm and wasn't no longer serving anyone after 10:15pm & he knows we arrived after 10:15pm when that wasn't true because we had been waiting for a hostess to seat us for minutes before he even approached us; only to told that we couldn't be served because they were closing at 11pm and stop taking orders at 10:15pm because staff had to enjoy the holidays. So we explained it was 10:19pm and we had been waiting for minutes since it was no one at the front. In fact, my boyfriend took the number from outside the front door to call to see if someone could come seat us.
So I told him let's just go but he wanted to proceed but agreed to leave but as I was walking to the car he turned back around. I got on the phone to tell some else their how this guy had treated us. I never got his name which is why I took his picture.
While on the phone, my boyfriend called me and said he was getting a to go order. I went back in. While we waited on the to go order we sat near the bar where the rude guy was. Since we didn't want this rude guy waiting on us. I stopped a black guy and asked if he could give my boyfriend a margarita because I saw this rude guy give someone sitting at the bar a drink. My boyfriend thought if they stop serving at 10:15pm why are they still giving this guy a new freshly made drink. The black guy said ok give me a minute but after learning that we were ordering a drink the hispanic rude guy yelled across the floor I am paraphrasing -" I said no one gets anything after 10:15pm". I yelled back you just handed this guy at the end of the bar a drink and he yelled back he was already here. At most restaurants, the people don't minded serving you a drink or something while you wait on your food to go. I understand they didn't want someone dining to eat there because that takes longer to prepare a meal and by the time it comes out it may be after 11pm but to treat customers this way over a drink while they wait is unacceptable. I felt embarrassed, humiliated, and flat out disrespected. I was livid. It wasn't necessary to treat us this way. I think this guy should be fired because there is a way to talk to and treat anyone and he fail miserably and shouldn't be in this line of work. I told the manager and she expressed she has received complaints before about him and that said she would talk to him. However, even after she did he still walked around passive aggressively laughing and talking about us to black guy that waited on us and other customers and making passive aggressive comments. I watched him while he did so. I went back and told the manager of this. Nothing more was done. I am almost certain I won't be back to this location and perhaps never to Applebees ever again. I am thinking they have lost me as a customer. To have a person like that working there. As you can see in the photo, he was still serving people until 10:45pm per their clock which is 3-4 minutes wrong but still serving them. If serving stops at 10:15pm you should close at 10:15pm or it should stop for everyone including those inside. You shouldn't prepare a fresh drink for someone after 10:15pm if you didn't wish that we have one while we wait on our to go order. I get it takes time to prepare a meal that is different but a drink while we wait what is the harm in that, I mean really? How rude? There were also only six people at the bar and us in seating area nearby. He also wasn't the one even serving us, so why did he care? Terrible...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the worst applebees I have came to & seems like manager or whoever is in charge of the location is not doing anything about it. It's just one too many things. The first time we came here it was very good & we loved how the waiter took care of us. The second time we had the same waiter & he was just in another world, he unattended us at its finest & after a long time of waiting for him to pass by our table a waitress comes to us saying that he is having a bad time & he won't be talking care of us anymore, I understand bad days & all of that but the right thing to do is take a few second off ur amazing time come to our table apologize for us waiting & waiting on him & say I won't be able to serve u anymore but my coworker will do so. It's not that hard we were very confused about what was happening btw this is the guy with the thin eyebrows-another time I went in for a to go order & I saw this same waitter rush out the door w out even saying hi or excuse me. My next bad experience on a different day was when the server was okay but I asked for a mango strawberry margarita .. & that looks red & orange .. Well I had that served 2 times but in a plain carrot color with no alcohol.. I questioned this & Server said oh bartender is new I'm like ok np I like this but this deff does not have alcohol which I was getting charged 6-7$ for each drink that wasn't even made correctly in the first place. Then a lady comes to us & says hey what's going on (I had not even requested a manager or anything) I said oh these drinks don't have alcohol she says ok do u want a shot of something to put in the drink? In my head I'm thinking is she serious!?? Instead of making it right & saying I'll have 2 of your drinks made the correct way! & then she says okay I'll charge u both of these frozen non alcoholic drinks for 3.99 plus the shot why I remember it was like almost 10$ ! I couldn't believe my eyes! Another bad experience was just yesterday "Terri G" was a acting goofy the entire time we "served us". He would ignore me everytime I would call him bc he wouldn't even bother to come to our table & ask if we needed anything. This one by far was the worstttttt experience at with this server TERRI.. He deff does not have good cust serv skills! & treated us like we weren't anything! He was rude to me & my entire family not once not twice but a couple of times that I said sir when he would pass right next to me & would completely ignore me & one time he didn't even turn around & made a sign for me to hold with his finger. I'm so discussed by his attitude none of us enjoyed our dinner & we payed & just left. We always leave good tip!! We appreciate good service or even a hint of good service everything with this server was a fail he needs to be re-trained or quit his job if he doesn't like it which that seems to be the case. Also he brought appetizer before our drinks ? Then he has the nerve to say what did you guys order again!? Omg I will never put a foot in this place I'll just drive to las colinas instead! I won't even come here for a to go order like I occasionally do sometimes. Someone needs to do something about this restaurant having such bad service!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible location to eat or work at, from my experience GARRICK should not be in management or be a key holder. He's extremely rude and lazy. I witnessed him allowing an employee to sleep in a back booth, also seen employees eat while having tables at table 70 (which is where the one decided to nap) I was at table 71 training on the computer BTW. Two employees went out to have a blunt (smoke weed) break while management was there and all the manager said was "why are y'all coming in smelling like that" and they proceeded to spray cologne. I won't name that manager because he was actually nice but it's pretty easy to put 2 and 2 together. My 1st day out of training one employee was on his phone at pass out his entire shift arguing LOUDLY with a chic via FaceTime and again management (GARRICK) said nothing. I would ask him over and over to help me when I was fresh out of training and his response the first time was "Do you need to go back through training, we can get you back in training if you need it" I let him slide because clearly he doesn't know how to talk to anyone and I had just got on the floor. The final straw was Monday night when I asked him a simple question about the end time of my shift when he rudely told me to go home and logged me out and turned the light off on me in the department I was working in after once again not helping after I asked for assistance several times because I was getting slammed and it was only my third day on the floor, he felt the need to ignore my requests KNOWING this and tried to cover it up by saying he had to help the other servers in the order in which they needed it, granted these are people that have been working there but he seemed like he needed to hand deliver margaritas to table 53 i believe (people of his likeness) run the cameras back. I finally got out of the woods and assisted the bartender with getting supplies that NO ONE would help her get (she deserves his job BTW) she's a hard worker. Three of the servers need to be fired ASAP. I'm writing this review because I wasn't able to tell my side of the story from what occurred Monday night. GARRICK got cussed out after the frustration kicked in from the kaos of the entire night, sometimes you have to pick your battles and understand that being a manager does not give you the right to talk to folks crazy. I will never dumb myself down again by working for such an disorganized franchise. I really had to humble myself to even take the job and honestly at first I felt like I could get what I needed to get from it and move on but I was quickly reminded of how I should value myself and my service industry skills. I guarantee that management will want to look into things now, I have no interest in discussing this with you all. Do what you have to do....
I will not remove this...
