Went to the Carrollton, TX location on Trinity Mills@Old Denton last Saturday night. The posted closing hours on their website, Google maps, and posted at their store all say 10 p.m., just like all the other locations. Pulled into the drive thru at 9:14 p.m. The voice came over the speaker and said "Close". Not closed, but close. Speaker was still on, and I was trying to ask why they were closed that much earlier than 10. I got no response back. The car that was in front of me had just made a huge order, and it was filled. I didn't see any financial transaction from the customer in that car, strangely. I had pulled up to the window right behind them to speak with someone about the hours. I saw 4 bags come out to the car, but no cash or card or anything coming out of the car. When I got to the window, I asked why they said they were closed. She just gave me a blank stare and said, "No, close". I asked again, why. Her response, "Fries no working". For a few minutes I kept trying to decipher exactly what that meant. In the mean time, at least 10 cars that had pulled up in the drive thru behind me, wound up pulling around and driving past the window area screaming "10 o'clock!!" It was still around 9:20 at this time. I asked if there was any food at all to buy, and the response was, "Potato tender". I have no idea what that meant. So, I gave up and drove all the way to the Dallas location somewhere around Midway road I think. I had no problem getting my order there, even though by that time, it almost was 10 o'clock. I tried to explain to them my experience at the other store, but it was obvious that not a single one of them understood a word that I was saying. I drove back by the Carrollton location on my way home and saw two cars sitting in the drive thru by the pickup window. I sat and watched, and both cars received several bags of food from the window, and once again, I never saw the driver, of either car, stick their hand out of their cars to give any type of payment to the employee. There is quite obviously something very fishy going on at that location. At the very very least, the way the business is being run is absolutely terrible. To stop serving an hour before close, at least, and have no explanation for it. I will never return to the location, that I've used for a decade at least, and I'm quite sure that many others will not either. I do not leave negative reviews very often, but this was so bad that I absolutely feel compelled to. And, as a final note, I don't care who people employ, but employees dealing directly with customers, especially taking orders for their food, definitely should be able to speak English. As most customers do...

Will never go to the Popeyes on Marsh again. The manager there is very racist towards African Americans.
My family came in from Houston yesterday to celebrate my birthday with me for the weekend, I was working a 12-hour shift and wasn’t going to be off of work until 8pm, so I asked my mom and siblings to please stop by Popeyes and get me some food before they get to my apartment. They went around 6pm - 7pm on Friday Oct. 20th.
When they got there, they ordered a 6 piece wing meal for me and a lot of other food for everyone else. The workers there intentionally didn’t provide a receipt for them and because they had so much food, they didn’t check to make sure everything was there before driving off. Since they just did a 5 hour+ drive with the traffic, my younger sisters decided to start eating their food. When they got to my apartment, they realized that my food wasn’t included, so my mom went back to Popeyes to let them know.
When my mom got there and told them that they forgot my meal, the manager came out and started insulting my mom. He kept calling her “hungry”, belittled her, and called her a number of insulting and degrading names. Then he proceeded to say that “people like her” are always looking for free food and looking for a hand out. He even started recording my mom at one point while continuing to insult her.
All she wanted was to only get my meal that was left out. After all the insults, she told him to just give her the money back for the meal and he continued to insult her some more. It was so bad to the point that my mom ended up having to call the police to come to the location. The officer had to repeatedly tell the manager to provide my mom with her receipt and her refund, because he proceeded to ignore both my mom and the officer for a while.
The sad thing is that none of the workers there chimed in to stop that man and some people even laughed at my mom being berated. At the end the officer apologized to my mom and told her not to bother coming back to that specific location because this isn’t the first time he’s received complaints about them, and they’re known for disrespecting their customers.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to get the managers name, I just know that he’s a short and somewhat thin Hispanic man. We have a photo of him but I don’t think Nextdoor...
