This place catered our business party. I couldn’t even eat it. Idk what type of seasoning they put on their food, but it made me want to gag. Majority of everyone else, however, liked it. I tell you, as soon as the meat touched my tongue with whatever seasoning they put in it, it just... it was so just not it. Plus they put ALOT of it in there. Everything had it on there, and I barely ate and it sucked too. I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve never been inside the business, nor do I know what their customer service is like, and prob will never, honestly. I’m the type to enjoy free food, too. Even if the food is sub par because it’s free I will scarf it down and enjoy it like my last meal, but not this time! The only items I could consume were the sausage- which btw was super dry, and beans that tasted straight out of a can. The beans were probably ranch style beans from the can and they just seasoned over it, but not with the seasoning that had me in disgust. The bbq sauce tasted like they purchased the cheapest sauce at Walmart and squeezed it into those little plastic containers. I highly doubt it’s homeade as well. The potato salad wasn’t gross, but I’ve definitely had better variations. I know potato salad isn't easy to make, but they need to perfect it. I figured this clearly wasn’t Texas bbq, but Memphis bbq. Ive tried Memphis bbq elsewhere and I just don’t understand why Memphis bbq meat always has to be dry. Is that just how it is? After trying 2 Memphis bbq places, it’s safe to say that I will be sticking solely to Texas bbq for...
Read moreI just wanted to say something to management. A word of advice, if you have a restaurant every review will not be positive and the fact that when a person gives you a negative review and you respond in the manner that I have seen from your establishment, makes me and others not want to visit. I've noticed from reading the reviews and your responses you keep saying that the people should've let management know instead of writing a review on social media. Well guess what, most people don't do confrontation and some don't notice things until they get home and when you try to call back the restaurant doesn't want to hear your concerns. And furthermore social media is the new word of mouth, just like you love it when it gets people to come in and try your establishment. It can also make people not want to come in because of negative experiences that patrons had while visiting your establishment. I'm not saying that you shouldn't respond to the negative reviews, I'm just saying it's not what you say, but how you say it and your remarks to the negative reviews have truly made me not want to visit your establishment, but not without letting you know, since that is important to you. Good evening and good luck in...
Read moreThe food was ok..I purchased 2 rib plates &2baked potatoes with 2 slices of cake. The customers service in the establishment was excellent which is the only reason they got 2 stars. The ribs nor the potato salad had much flavor and the cake was do dry both had to be thrown away.
UPDATE TO Management: First and foremost I have the right to give my opinion on your establishment in anyway I choose! This was my experience and as a professional business or supposedly professional business u should take the criticism and make it better for the next customer! That's Business 101! Telling a customer what they should have done for your subpar food is unacceptable when it should have been right the first time! I didn't ask for a refund or an excuse like I have seen in other responses from this management, I just took the loss! My post was not a discussion nor is it up for debate! For the record I didn't eat at your restaurant therefore telling the staff immediately was not an option. Moving forward before you respond you may want to keep in mind that customers are not required to eat at your establishment..sometimes we take orders to go or would you deny me that...
