FULL CITY ROOSTER — Restaurant in Dallas

Our story.. while visiting Dallas Convention Center 1st time .. we got hungry. Drive around and looking for food..saw Baby Back Shak.. and said hey that sounds good. Parked our car in front of this little storefront..with nothing on our mind but getting some good BBQ ribs. While walking to the Shak a gentleman kindly spoke, greeted himself and asked if we like coffee..as he walked out this storefront.. we said "yes, we do". He kindly begin explaining his newly opened store and process and asked if we would like to try and see is operations.. we said sure... walked in and the aroma was so pleasant and just yummy.. At this point i knew we were in trouble because the freshness was sooo strong. I felt myself becoming addicted. So he brews us some hand-picked roasted coffee from Guatemala. Oh my goodness.. the freshness the aroma and taste still has me wanting more..Well we bought a bag of hand-picked Ethiopian roasted ground coffee to bring back to Ohio. and it was awesome.. So if you are a Coffee fan and want a new imported coffee.. i can 1st had say his operation is truly mom & pop.. which we met his wife and son.. Mr Michael has a very nice operation ..I will be ordering offline to ship to Ohio.. Thank You for a wonderful experience..and hope to get back to the shop soon.

Recent Visit to Dallas Feb 2015.. went back and the Full Roost was still there.. We walked in and the Michael remembered us.. "hey the couple from Ohio" lol he was so happy we came back to visit. We explained our favorite stop in Dallas. Michael had a customer sitting at the table and was in awe on how the owner spoke of us. So the stranger asked if we would like to visit Nasher Sculpture Center... He asked for our names and then he made a call. He said just walk in and tell them your name. He is the CFO of the company!! Astonished we were. As we purchased 3 bags to take beck to Ohio. We love...

Found this little place through Amazon Local deals actually, and I'm so glad I did. I've recently been a bit into coffee so I decided to go ahead and get the deal to check this place out, since the deal included a studio tour as well as a bag of coffee. While it also doubles as a tiny coffee shop, it's primarily an open area brewing studio, with the large stainless steel machine in the center of the room ready for some beans.

Mike, the owner, gave us the tour, and he was super warm and friendly about it, taking his time to tell us about how he got started and the details of the process, both scientifically (yes, I asked) and the artisan aspect of it.

And of course, the coffee was dang delicious, like wow. Brewed within 2 days, literally best coffee I've ever had. My taste preferred the Ethiopian and the Mexican. A week ago I would have had no idea what either of those mean, haha.

Overall, awesome tour, awesome deal, and even more awesome business and...

Full City Rooster was the best coffee shop I went to in Dallas on a recent work trip. Here's what's to love:

Coffee: They source the best beans from all over the world and roast them inhouse. You can see their roaster in the front of the house. My iced latte was perfectly crafted with rich coffee beans. They rotate what coffee they use, but always display the week's blend up front.

Space: It's a beautiful space with outdoor seating and a large back room with couches and tables with plenty of outlets. They also have free password protected wifi that's strong and reliable.

Staff: They are super nice and knowledgeable about coffee.
