As a first-generation Southamerican of Peruvian and Chilean decent, I've been waitng for an authentic Argentinian empanada bakery to open here in the heart of Dallas since 1994!
I had the pleasure of ordering a dozen beef empanadas on 3/13/25. The attention to detail is impeccable. When I called, they asked me if I wanted them frozen, fully baked to eat now or cooked about 80% so that I could finish baking them at home. I didnât try all the flavors, but I focused on the meat one, which is the traditional choice. The ground beef tasted like it hadnât been cooked long enough to develop that authentic flavor.
The size is fair for the price, but in DFW there are other places where you can find real Argentinian empanadas. For me, this just...
