I can't believe I've never left a review here. I've probably dined here a dozen times and ordered takeout about 40 times or more.
There is nothing I could possibly criticize Asian Mint for - everything I've ever ordered has been phenomenal. Ok, maybe the seasonal pumpkin pudding wasn't quite my thing, but I loved the idea and the fact that there are seasonal offerings. But in the 5 or so years I've been eating here, I've loved virtually everything else.
I usually stick to the fried rice. Choosing the veggie and tofu option every time. The yellow curry is by far my favorite, but I try to switch it up every time. Even my least favorite rice variation (the Thai Basil) would still rank a solid 9/10 and I keep it in ordering rotation.
This is the place I always recommend to others, bring coworkers to, and order whenever I'm feeling down or have a bad day. To me, Asian Mint is one of the most special places and always brings me happiness. But seriously, how is possible I never left a review? I'm sorry for that oversight.
This was also the absolute best restaurant during the peak of COVID - no one else ever came close to showing care and concern for their guests, and I owe a long...
Read moreWe’ve gotten takeout from Asian Mint several times (all so yummy), but last night we were lucky to attend a private meal by Chef Nikky and her team. It was incredible – our group was totally blown away by the flavors and the soul.
Our 5-course meal consisted of: The most delicious flavor burst bite of shrimp, peanuts and veggies in sauce on a giant leaf. Noodle pork app (also in a leaf) – yum! Tom Kha soup of dreams Main entrée – perfectly cooked short ribs in a curry sauce, with gravity defying fried noodles. Presentation and taste both A+. Dessert – sticky rice pudding (pandan gives the bright green color) with perfectly ripe mango.
Pictures here don’t do it justice. Everything was delicious and even though I was stuffed, I probably would have eaten 3 of everything if I could! It was inspiring hearing Chef Nikky’s background and her passion of spreading love through cooking. My heart and belly were happy. Hope to make it to Thailand one day, but in the meantime, Asian Mint will happily suffice. Look forward to trying more dishes at the...
Read moreHave never been to this location until today. I am running an order for favor. The girl who took my order was very sweet on the phone. I get to the store to pickup and she sees my favor card and she begins to be rude. Tells me I have to order favor orders in person and wait I cannot call ahead. If the quality of the food is supposably the same why does it matter? Then she asked me not to sit at a table even though the restaurant only had two people in it and they were about to close which is why I called ahead the order in the first place. I was given attitude when I asked if the order was correct and asked for silverware and napkins. Then when I was leaving she told me the spot I parked in was for curbside only even though there were no customers and all the curbside was empty. They were speaking Korean and laughing and I felt uncomfortable like they were talking about me the entire time. I will never come to this location as a customer or a favor runner again. I'm just trying to do my job and give my customer the best...
