I dont understand the hype about this place at all! I paid $31 to get 1 burger combo, 1 kids meal, a salmon burger, fries + fried avocados.
The food took forever. Then when we got it, I realize he upcharged my combo for the large drink+fry, but gave me a small fry and insisted that's the way it worked.
So, the food:
Guacamole Burger Combo - Packed guac, not flavorful, but fresh... meat was just "ok", bread was old/stale almost... kind of tough, not soft. The burger itself was dry.
Fries were dusted with garlic powder, which created a weird dry texture... but the flavor was ok. Portion was smallish. And fries didnt seem fresh... almost like they were frozen and bought that way and just cooked and seasoned.
Kids meal... I'm not sure, didn't ask my daughter. But it looked to be about the same as mine.
Fried Avocados - $4.95, complete waste of money. They were burnt and flavorless. Just avocado mush inside a bland cornmeal like breading. The ranch dressing just helped to disguise how bland they were. I ended up throwing them away and I HATE to waste money.
Salmon Burger - Bread again was dry/old. Daughter said it was just ok. Not very flavorful, not very moist... just meh. She said she wouldnt have paid for it.
Overall, I truly dont get the hype. The food is subpar, prices are high for what you get, and the service wasnt very friendly!

The beef is dry as a result. Curly fries are nice. Cheese slices are too thin for the thick patties. Your cheeseburgers will feel more like hamburgers. Their pricing might be a little steep for some, but keep in mind that you will leave with a full belly. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR TO-GO ORDERS. I ordered a lone star burger to-go. I get home to find that they forgot the bacon. No biggie. I called back to see if they can make me a fresh order while I go back to return the bad one. Instead, they offered me $1 off my next order and they'll add extra bacon. What if I order chili cheese fries instead? How would they keep track of who I am in the future? They then offered me to come back so they can give me a bunch of bacon. I don't feel like letting my food get cold at home while I drive to go get bacon that I have to put into my cold, dry burger. Family-owned restaurants are usually bad at customer service. This might be because they may not have prior restaurant experience or there may be a cultural disconnect, etc. The customer is not always right...but if the kitchen screwed up, you need to make the best effort to keep your customer pleased and happy to come back for more. Read moreI have traveled the world and have eaten at many different places. Along my travels I am here in Dallas and have heard of the best burger, burger shop. The menu is very descriptive and allows you to really narrow down exactly what you want. (Bring reading glasses if you have a hard time reading) Overall the cleanliness of the restaurant is wonderful. The kid friendly environment, and drink selection is incredible, many selections you don't usually see at most other restaurants or burger places. I order the lonestar triple. They are known for their famous lonestar burgers. Let me be one to say. WOW. I almost didn't finish my plate. The food came out quickly and was prepared fresh. These are handmade patties which was a definite plus. One of the best burgers I have had in the Dallas area. Some provided recommendations for future reference. Possibly providing a more noticeable sign for the restrooms being temporarily closed. A menu change could be helpful, in my opinion, I like the menu but so many colors makes it hard to read. Lastly I noticed a child laying on the bread racks behind the register. Maybe have a curtain kinda hiding that for inspection purpose, and for a more professional outlook.
