Umphress Park — Attraction in Dallas

Loved the shade. Trees were everywhere. Play structure was close. The splash pad was a good size. I brought my own tent just in case it was needed. Really did not need it, but I had some decorations hanging on it. Kids and adults had a great time!! There were soccer games going on in the lower area, but it was fine. The park has its ups and downs but for the most part as long as us parents keep the kids safe and the puppies too. We're fine. We recently had a power outage and the whole neighborhood came out to get out of our hot houses. Ive only been here for 5 years but i like the neighborhood.... And the fact the kids can get out of school drop off their backpacks and go play...

Ive been going here since i was a kid. 27 years later its better than ever although they no longer have a swimming pool, the splash park is a good addition. It used to be crawling with delinquents doing and selling drugs but the police have stepped up their game. Its cool that now my kids come here and play. You still gotta keep your guard up though,...
