Pollo Regio — Restaurant in Dallas

The last time I came to this location, the person at the order box got an attitude with me for the dumbest reason! I ordered two half chickens, each one comes with its own rice and beans. So two half’s should come with two rices and two beans. So I order the two half’s, and the lady kept trying to get me to order a full chicken with one rice and one bean and to pay extra for the other two sides. I don’t understand how that made sense to her, having me pay extra per side, when I’m already paying more by ordering two separate meals! I did not appreciate the attitude and this has not been the first time. Maybe it’s the location, maybe it’s the staff, but the quality of the food isn’t that great. The last three times I have gotten food here, they have given me rice that has clearly been put in the microwave as the top parts of the container have been melted onto the rice! But after this last time I went, I will not be returning to this location....

I ordered a burrito and substitute the rice and beans for fries ( which they charged me 80 cents twice idk why ?) . To my knowledge a burrito of any kind always comes with Rice and beans , that’s the norm right ? Wrong apparently there’s only comes with guac , cheese , and the protein of your choice . The picture on their menu clearly has rice and beans in it so I didn’t understand why they didn’t wanna fix it when I asked for it to be fixed . So I got in line and bought a side of beans and rice to fix it my own self bc I’m crazy to think rice and beans go on a burrito right? My $12 burrito ended up being $20 , please fix yalls menus to say what it all includes , and make sure your cashiers let us know what all comes on a burrito . Oh and the manager asked to fix it once i had already paid and was sitting down opening up my burrito to put the beans and rice inside. Like really ?...

Im glad that this is not the first time iv been to A Pollo Regio before. Stoped by the buckner location expecting the same level of customer service and great for like always but i was sadly disappointed. My experianced started off with a the worker at the window not knowing alot of english not a big deal im a understanding person just makes things a bit more difficult. Then after reciving my order I wait at the window for 12 mins waiting for the drinks I ordered. I can understand forgeting a item we are all human we make mistakes but how could you not see me still sitting there for 12 mins...Got home to hope that the food would make me forget it all and redeem Regio of this sub par experiance but I was wrong.Watered down green sauce,dripping watery guacamole,and chunky un eatable sour cream. Will still go to Regio but only the Garland and Plano locations becuase they know how to...
