Braum’s Ice Cream is hands down one of the best places to grab a sweet treat. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by how consistent and high-quality everything is. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the amazing smell of freshly baked waffle cones and sweet, creamy ice cream. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and ready to help you find your new favorite flavor.
On this trip, I decided to try a few new flavors. I sampled the Chocolate Almond, the Birthday Cake, and their famous Mint Chocolate Chip. Every single one was rich, flavorful, and had that homemade taste you can’t fake. I ended up going with a double scoop — Mint Chocolate Chip on the bottom and Birthday Cake on top in a waffle cone. It was absolutely perfect. The mint flavor was strong but smooth, and the chocolate chips were the perfect size, giving a nice little crunch without being overwhelming. The Birthday Cake ice cream tasted just like real birthday cake, complete with little sprinkles mixed throughout. The cone itself was fresh and crispy, made right there in the store, and didn’t get soggy even after sitting for a bit.
What I really love about Braum’s is the attention to detail. You can tell they put real care into their products. The ice cream isn’t just sweet — it’s balanced. You can taste the cream, the vanilla, the chocolate, or whatever the main flavor is without it being overpowered by sugar. Their portions are also really generous for the price, which makes it a great value, especially if you’re bringing friends or family. Plus, Braum’s doesn’t just do ice cream — their entire market and grill sections are awesome. You can grab fresh dairy products, groceries, burgers, and even breakfast all in one stop.
The service was fast even though the line was pretty long when I arrived. The employees were upbeat, smiling, and happy to answer questions. One of them even recommended a flavor combo I hadn’t thought of, and it was a hit. It’s small touches like that that make the experience special and keep me coming back. The store was also very clean — the counters were wiped down, the floors were spotless, and the bathrooms were well-stocked and tidy.
If you’re looking for a place that serves up delicious ice cream, fair prices, and outstanding customer service, Braum’s is absolutely the place to go. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic vanilla cone or want to branch out and try something new like their premium sundaes or malts, you’ll leave satisfied every time. I’ve been to a lot of ice cream shops, and Braum’s definitely ranks at the top of my list. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near one — you...
Read moreI've been going to this Greenville Ave store for many years. For the past few months, in their grocery section, they've been putting expired bread on the shelf in the grocery section, versus throwing it away. I'm not talking about their section where they sell "day old" discounted items. Today, 4-4-21 at around 7am, I went in to buy bread and milk. The "Rustic Bread" brand on the shelves had expiration dates of yesterday 4-3-21 and today 4-4-21 (and today is 4-4-21). I find that laziness with inventory control and oversight disgusting and unacceptable. I'm not willing to eat expired bread, nor buy it, and I expect at least a 7-10 day expiration, from the date I'm buying any loaf of bread. This locations bread expiration dates has been an ongoing problem for months, and it didn't use to be like that. The only way a store has an ongoing problem like this is with their inventory orders. Either too much is being ordered on certain days each month, versus ordering a smaller quantity each week, so as to spread out the chance of expired items being forced upon customers. I'm guessing the managers oversight or laziness with this is due to her compensation being tied into inventory loss/waste. I'm guessing her paycheck is more important to her than customer health. That's the only way I can picture anyone intentionally, and on an ongoing basis for months, trying to sell expired bread to the public. Shame on her, on this store, and on Braum's corporate, for not catching, knowing or doing anything about this, until now. Like I said, this has been going on for many months in their bread section, plus I've mentioned this issue many times to the manager and the employees! Hopefully this review will finally lead to some sort of attention and resolution about this matter, from someone above this lazy...

Me an my wife was the only people inside of Braum's - I noticed 3 employees - 1 on the window- 1 behind the counter- 1 in the market area- we standing at the counter awaiting for someone to say G.M. how may I help you- I didn't expect the young man to leave the drive thru window to take our order- but the lady behind the counter- Yes ! So I walked over to the lady that was working in the market part of Braum's and asked her- are they open for service on the inside ? She said yes- so we went back to the counter again and waited...... Finally I said to my wife let's go ! At that time the young man leaves the drive thru window to take our order. We are just about to exit the door. So we decided to stay and eat our BF their only because we had business in that area of town. I'm not understanding why no one could have said-- G.M.
