Planet Fitness — Local services in Dallas

I'm making this review because there is an employee name Jonathan that work there and revealed a lot of information to some of the customers that goes to this gym about things that goes around here.

Let’s start with the General Manager Jason, Jonathan told me that Jason got a crush on 4 customers that comes there and that Jason tend to watch them when they show up at the gym. Jason told Jonathan that his type tend to be light skinned Latina girls because they look similar to white girls. One of the girls that Jason tend to pay attention every time she comes in is Jimena Luna, Jonathan said that when she comes Jason act like, “hey, look she is here.” And that sometimes he tend to check her out. The other thing Jonathan said is that Jason tend to be lazy at work and doesn’t like to clean and the other employees have to do most of the work because he tend to be lazy.

Now it is about the Assistant manager. Jonathan said that he got a beef with one of the other employees, which is an old guy who is disable from one of his legs. One of the argument that Jonathan told me about was the time that the assistant manager girlfriend came to the gym and while she was waiting for her boyfriend. The old guy was having a polite conversation with her. Then the assistant manager got upset about him talking to his girlfriend and that they went and had an argument and the argument went like this. Assistant Manager: “Why do you talk to my girlfriend and don’t talk to me at all.” Old Employee: “I’m just having a normal conversation, why are you being insecure about it?” Assistant Manager: “why would I be insecure about it?” Old Employee: “You are acting insecure because I’m talking to her.” Assistant Manager: “Why would I be insecure when I’m not an old guy and got two good walking legs.” Jonathan also added that Jason was there and didn’t do anything about it and just ignored the problem. I think it was unprofessional for Jason not to do anything when the argument escalated to that point.

One thing that Jonathan mentioned was that he could had been an assistant manager, only reason that he didn’t became one was because Jason told him that he left and came back later on, so he had no choice as to make the other guy an assistant manager as he preferred Jonathan for that role, but didn’t want to look like he was showing favoritism towards him. Also, he said that there was a girl who used to work there and that everyone wanted her to quit because she was using the excuse about her fracture leg to do nothing and that he was glad that she left because he had been wanting to take that overnight shift for so long and that when she left, he took over that shift.

Also, I would like to add that even thought Jonathan does complain about some of the employees. He tend to break the rules at the gym. He had revealed personal information to some people about previous customers. Someone of those reasons are like why some people got their account revoked as the reasons could either be acting crazy, not paying the subscription on time, or him not liking some of the customers and deleting his/her account as the company give them that much power, etc. Other stuff he had done is providing customers phone numbers to other people and that's if he likes the person that asked for it. The other thing he had done is show favoritism to some customers like providing them with free beverage with either water, protein drinks, energy drinks, etc.

There is more information that Jonathan had told customers about it, but this is pretty much a summary of it. Also, don’t ask me to give a review through the planet fitness app as Jonathan had showed me that those aren’t anonymous and I don’t want to be targeted after revealing all this...

I forgotten the reason why, I cancel my subscription to planet Fitness in the past! Then I Got My reminder... When I join them for the $10 a month membership Plan !!! They start trying to hit my card for double triple and even $50 Dollars in advance before and even after I paid them !!! When I restarted my account, years later... they still had an old, routing number upon my old card number ! Still in there database, So when I register with a new card, the old card was still on there and when they couldn't get the money off my new card they, were charging my old routing number up under my old card account !!! An was hitting me twice ! which this information should have been deleted or not even kept for this long ! I mean this is dirty this is why I canceled the first time cuz I do not like Company charging my card for the amount, that was not agreed upon! they are dirty and under handed ! They refuse to refund me my annual fee ! Even though i never, Used any of there Services !!! But since they did it through my old account and up under My old card... That I didn't even have anymore ! Proving time, intent and My Point !!! Trust me it's more to the story but they are doing some Udner handed stuff... ...

I don’t usually take my time out to write reviews but when the employees act like you work for them…It’s a problem! April or whatever her name is at the Forest and Greenville location. The short, curly , dirty blonde, white female, that works there and was working Sunday June 4th 2022. The closing time is 7 P.M.. She walked around yelling at members 10 mins to 7, telling us to get out now!

I didn’t know as a member we pay planet fitness to have “EMPLOYEES” yell at grown people, to get out.

When she approached me with that tone, I told her it’s not 7 yet and not to talk to me that way. She proceeded to talk irrational and hostel and raised her voice at me several times after I told her not to talk to me that way.

This is Inexcusable behavior and I will be getting in touch with corporate to file a formal complaint. This isn’t the 1st time she has gotten out of line. Something needs to be done, and done asap!

This review needs to be taking seriously because I won’t patronize a “quote, unquote” healthy gym environment that employees loose canyon such as April And again I will be filing a formal complaint and I hope this isn’t...
