I recently tried this place because of their connection to duro hospitality although I’m not a coffee person. I had the banana hortchata matcha and fell and love with it. I’ve been going for a few weeks and I brought my friends to try it out as since they are avid coffee drinkers. This specific time I was given a smaller cup because it was “light ice”. Very odd because it was not my first time being there, I’d never had this happen before and there was very clearly way less liquid in this cup. The amount of ice did not constitute a completely different size cup. When I went up to ask the cashier, he asked the barista why the cups were different, which tells me that this is not a common practice and the barista is deciding to give me a smaller cup for whatever reason. This is a 7 dollar drink so not understanding the need to nickel and dime. Especially if I’ve been there and had this drink several times and never had a smaller cup, definitely put a bad taste in my mouth and my friends who love trying out new coffee places.

I’ll include the drink I got literally last week which look like the drinks I’ve been getting for the last 6 weeks with “light ice” in the normal size cup and the smaller cup next to my friends cups who got the same exact drink as me with “regular ice”

I am the biggest fan of the duro hospitality restaurants. I am a regular at the Charles & I frequent Sister quite a bit. A large part of this was because of the service you get at those places. I always bring all my out of town friends to each of those places. So I was just disappointed to see that this quality of service did not extend to...

Their coffee is consistently good. You can get your drinks in a mug or to-go :) Service can get backed up/busy on the weekends, but you'll get your drink way faster than the Starbucks down the road.

They also have a jar full of chocolate biscotti, but make sure you're there before 11am on the weekends if you want a piece!

Parking is free - a small parking lot is available in the back or open street parking on side streets.

There are a few bar seats and standing height tables to sip your coffee at. In the mornings for more seating, you can take your coffee next door and be inside the covered, air conditioned, porch of Sister (same owners).

This is very much an "enjoy your coffee & company and go" type of place and isn't meant to be a remote work space. If you're wanting more of a couch/lounge/working vibe, then go next door to Halcyon. Be prepared, though, Halcyon's coffee is not as...

I 1000% agree with the other person that said that the morning person is just generally unpleasant and always seems like he’s in a bad mood and just rolled out of bed. The wait time is insane on a weekday morning when people have places to be. I recently started coming here again after Keith Lee reviewed it. But honestly think I’m gonna stop coming back. The service is below subpar. Also now they’re charging an additional whole two dollars for a small amount extra of the banana Horchata mix which would bring the Matcha to over nine dollars. If you’re going to charge luxury price points then service, quality control, and efficiency needs to also be the standard in your business. It’s a shame because I think that the banana Horchata is genuinely one of my favorite drinks In the DFW area and use to recommend this place all the time, but I do...

This is my new favorite spot! I tried the matcha chai and salted caramel iced nitro latte and both were 10/10! The matcha was not overpowering, had such a subtle sweetness but strong matcha flavor! And the latte was delicious! Well balanced, quality espresso and not to mention the presentation was beautiful! Cashier was friendly and warm, plenty of private parking behind establishment and a convenient sister restaurant right next door with plenty of seating! The atmosphere makes for an aesthetic ambiance and not to mention it doubles as a wine shop with a huge selection to shop from! 3 drinks + 1 pastry cost me $23 where as Starbucks might run me $30 upward for such less quality and experience!
