Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Dallas

I come to this Chik Fil A a lot, my kids are fanatics. We always have a great experience with mobile order and drive thru but today we decided to dine in. There was a person outside who asked for me to get him some food so I told him I would. Ja Mal who works at this store often and is always polite, efficient and has great work ethic took our order today and brought our food to us. I asked him if I could also get a bag because I wanted to give some of our food to the man outside. Ja Mal brought me a bag as requested and as son as I finished placing the items in the bag I asked my daughter to stay inside while I ran the food to him. As I was getting up, Ja Mal quickly approached and asked if I wanted him to take it out to him and as I didn’t want to leave my daughter inside by herself I accepted his offer. Ja Mal goes above and beyond every single time we encounter him and while there are many other employees also who work hard and well at this location I really feel Ja Mal goes the extra mile and is just such a well mannered, man who takes great care to his job and customers. I appreciate him very much and I hope he receives recognition for his great work ethic and care for customers....

I had a mobile order that I went to pick up at the store. I originally was going to do carry out but changed to drive-through. Once I got my food I checked to make sure I had everything in it that I requested online. I was missing my barbecue sauce. I asked the cashier for the barbecue sauce that I requested she gave me Chick-fil-A sauce, when I informed her that I didn’t ask for Chick-fil-A sauce, I asked for a barbecue sauce. Her response was oh you can just keep the Chick-fil-A sauce. I had to let her know I don’t like Chick-fil-A sauce, so please take this back I was waiting at the drive-through and they were like oh may I help you? I said yes, I need my drinks , one lady who was not helping me responded that order didn’t have drinks and I had to let her know. Yes I have a combo meal and added a drink for my salad. Customer service has become mediocre. Not just at this location but in multiple Chick-fil-A locations, I’m starting to feel like I’m at the golden arches when I come...

It's chick fil a, they are always killing it. Honestly the good service has to a degree taken a 180 and it's kind of....mmm not sure how to put it but i don't really like the "My pleasure" requirement, it's usually forced and ordering can be kind of uncomfortable because I go here often and say I want the "just the spicy sandwich, no pickles" and they always ask of I want the meal witch is cool its no big deal but I've even said "just spicy sandwich no combo" and they still ask.

Its not a big deal what so ever but sometimes ordering just one thing can be tedious because it feels like you have to answer a bunch of questions name,meal,drink,sauce,anything else, my pleasure, to order one thing...

I've even gone as far as to not say thank you because I don't want them to say my pleasure. hands me bag Me:Alllllrrihhty now Them:My pleasure.....

Kind of a game i play when I go, don't say thank you or maybe anything at all and get them to say my pleasure.its a stupid game...
