I left my phone and keys inside as they were closing. Have been there for about 2 hours prior to leaving. When i got to my car and realized my mistake that i forgot my keys and phone inside. However when i went back to the door to find it was locked and everyone inside was refusing to help me even though it was 5-10mins after, they seemed to have no idea where they were inside a company that was 2000sqft. I understand how i could look as I am trying to get the personals attention as they looked at me and continued their side work to i guess finish up their closing duties, however i know what those closing duties entail (rolling silverware, sweeping/mopping, bottle of liquor are capped, etc). Your section and making sure everything is setup for the next (day or night) shift that comes the next day. I went out looking for some table to play some pool(billiards), found myself at the hideaway and was a decent time but all the pool tables were filled. I left and headed over to "The Forum" everything was great, from the atmosphere to the people/crowd they had, it was great! Up until i left and accidently left my keys and phone there. (which i can track VIA "FindMyIphone" or "iCloud find devices") but instead of letting me into the establishment where my device was left at, the personnel at "the Forum" would not let me in because they thought i was TABC attempting to access their bar after hours when i just wanted my phone and keys that i have the location on and showing it at this location but refused to let me even look around once they closed even though i was able to show them my belongings(property) was under my ownership. The atmosphere was great, loved the people i was able to meet and get to know. Unfortunately, it was the staff that turned me off from this place being ive never been here before and what its like dealing with intoxicated customers. Just wouldve thought i would get more help from the staff since it is a bar that is no more than 1,300sqft. When i tried to go back in after only 5 mins of them closing, they refused to try to help me and informed to call back in the morning as i look at the location of my device and its saying its in their building/property. All i was told was to get away and call back in the AM and that is while im showing them the corporation of "The Forum"/Staff of "The Forum" of my phones location being at (The Forum) and it showing MY property here at this location but the staff reusing to even let me take a look as i show them proof of it is astonishing. This is my first time here, was able to meet some good people but can assure you i will not be back to...
Read moreI have been coming to the Forum for most of my life because one of my best friend's family opened it and ran it for many years. I enjoy the music and people on Wednesday night and I recommend their Wednesdays to everyone. Last night Irecieved the worst service I may have ever recieved at any bar in Richardson ever. The soft looking male bartender behind the bar last night was much more interested in his phone and his co-workers short shorts than he was his work duties. Bartending is one of the easiest jobs in the world and that weak man is costing the bar money and customers. I waited for almost 15 minutes standing at an empty bar trying to get my tab. I had to resort to waiving my hands above my head to get one of the employees to finalIy bring me my check. I am posting this with hope that the management of The Forum can do something about their piss poor staff...
Read moreNice little bar in Richardson, I didn't know it existed because it is on the 2nd level of the shopping center. Have been here a few times and decided to try it out again. I had great service from a new bartender named Machi. She was very attentive and I never had to wait for my beer or drink. It was on a Friday night so they had karaoke but it wasn't as bad as most. The music wasn't too loud and there were some good singers. Drink prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of liquor. I liked the 70's look and the...
